Peter King, Leading Republican, To Introduce Strict Gun-Control Legislation

So a new law would have stopped an insane man from shooting a Congresswoman and killing a nine year old girl? Did you know that once the girl was down the woman with her jumped over the little girl and the guy shot the woman three times in the back? He was there to kill a lot of people and killing Gifford was just going to be a bonus – for what ever warped reason he had.

That's not overreacting?

Its not over reacting. Every time a tragedy like this happens the anti-2nd amendment loons including the media comes out of the wood work to try to push some anti-2nd amendment agenda. Now these same people are trying to push for a anti-1st amendment agenda by whining how we need to tone down the political rhetoric. These people are despicable. These people are like crickets when a armed citizen stops a criminal with his firearm.

If people believe the proposal is a bad political objective, they should organize a counter-argument and take their position on the other side of aisle. Being spiteful and hating public leaders from behind their computers isn't a good response.

Unfortunately, for some of you, this is still the freest country in the world and I can be hateful and spiteful as I want and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it.

Is this a comment that you posted when so many liberals were openly calling for the death of President Bush??????

I just thought of something else too. The article says it would be illegal to bring a gun within 1,000 feet of a government official. I wonder how broad that 'government official' label is?

Looks like someone found a way to finally get them kids out of the trailor park. Just look if someone owns a gun then send CPS to their house. /sarcasm
