I never went through SERE. However as a classified courier I did recieve considerable training on what to do and not do in case of being abducted. 'Lie' was not an option-in fact we were told point blank do NOT lie. Lying in an interrogation is worthless. The likely end result is you get harmed worse.

Now...about the abject failure to close Guantanimo Bay, to extend constitutional rights to terrorists, and the expansion of black-ops prisons in Afghanistan...

I was a courier while on AD. Transported ECW and transponder codes and equipment pretty much monthly. NEVER got so much as a second glance travelling in European airports...world of difference re hoop jumps when traveling CONUS.

Ive given up on partisan hacks...no sense in responding to senseless people. The continued whiney "Its all Bush's fault" bull**** got tiresome several months ago. If I want to hear the same bull**** repeated over and over I'll pull Petes string.

And there is nothing silly about what is being argued. Now, you're a step better in understand than the Prof. But that's a low standard to be sure. You continue to suggest that we lie just like the terrorists do. maybe you do. but I, nor those I proudly served with, hero, did any such thing. It's really difficult to believe that someone from the democracies actually said something like this!

Terrorists are all deception. They don't wear uniforms, hide their identities, deliberately target those most vulnerable, including children, and mingle unobserved among otherwise normal people before they kill them. You figure that a US Marine can do the same, or behaves in a like manner??

No one who has ever spent any time in the democracies can be this uninformed.
 
I've demonstrated that Obama could easily keep his promise to close Gitmo. Why won't he do it? Why does Obama insist on breaking his word? He gave his solemn promise over and over and over and over again ad infinitum during the campaign. But leftists don't complain about Gitmo remaining open. Why is that true? Is it because leftists are really unprinicpled hypocrites who complained about Gitmo for partisan political purposes?

Again, terrorism is a tactic, used by all kinds of people throughout history. The tactic is rarely done by anyone in uniform. The Irish, for example, used the tactic.

And I;m neither uninformed or saying anything that controversial. It's actually quite obvious. But some seem to have serious comprehension problems. I spoke to only one aspect, that is deception upon capture. Making wild leaps all over the board is not helpful, so try not to do that if you can.

But what affairs are those? Do you have any concrete information as to why Islamists are committing terrorist acts all over the world? Please keep in mind that it is not only the Americans and Western Europeans who have been subject to these attacks.
