Arizona Sheriff Blasts Rush Limbaugh for Spewing 'Irresponsible' Vitriol

Really? From what I hear (I refuse to listen to his show) the callers are screened and if someone does disagree with him they make sure it's some dumbass and he shouts them down? Am I right?

The good sheriff may be using smoke and mirrors to get eyes off his department. Jared Loughner had at least three run ins with the law so he was not a stranger to the sheriff's department. If anyone could have stopped this maybe it was him.

Limbaugh likes to hear himself talk and takes very few calls. On fridays he takes some from both sides. Every talk show I know of screens. That doesn't mean they don't take lib callers.

I saw his interviews. Comical. A guy that has gained national media attention for mindless hype and using the deaths and injury of innocents to further his own partisan hate filled attacks cries out against partisan hate filled attacks.

He wants to blame speech and crosshairs for the deaths and injuries. Yet he is the one who had run ins with Loughner on several occasions. He even admitted Loughton had made death threats in the past but not at Gifford.

It's a transparent and downright pathetic attempt for the Left and their journOlists to try and disengage the public from The Tea Party, Palin and Limbaugh. To try and stifle what is happening on The Hill.

Like Foley during the 2006 mid-terms, and Obama in 2008, this is their latest rabbit from the hat moment, and a very disgusting one. Never waste a crisis... isn't that their motto?

But... it is what it is.

Problem for the Left is... I doubt even their entire 23% believes the toxic waste coming from the idiots that claim Palin, The Tea Party and Limbaugh are responsible. That claim is absolute, unadulterated idiocy.

I'm not sure if anyone agrees with me or not, but the fact that the left has been very quiet in "calling out" this sheriff....I have lost a lot of respect for the left in general, if they had any left to begin with.

My view of the left in this country has never been lower. Even after electing an ex-muslim half-black man with no experience to office....that was nothing compared to this.

Silence means agreement. If you don't agree with it, stand up. Otherwise, I see you as just as sick minded as the sheriff who said it.

i can easily see this guy using all the leftist comments as his defense. Your honor...he was a screwed up kid...they should have got him help. Yes, radio show callers (including liberal radio shows) screen their callers. Shock!

But, that's not at all what I was talking about. Obama and many other elected democrats (such as this sherif) criticize Rush for a multitude of items very often. To claim, that it's about time someone criticized Rush (as if he's not normally criticized) completely ignore reality.
