Do you realize the American people actually think this law doesn't go far enough? During the debate the "public option" was favored by a majority in polls. I am pretty sure the FNC didn't let that information out.

    Unintended concequences suck, huh?

I fail to see how someone would be taking money out of your pocket if EVERYONE were paying for their own health insurance...you know...that "being responsible" thing you and Conservative and cpwill and so many others are always talking about that everyone should be doing anyway.
Have you failed to see how many corporations and unions that are receiving waivers? Or to see how insurance premiums are going through the roof?

Again, it's a "freedom" vs "individual responsibility" thing. Which side are you on?
If the government wants to legislate individual responsibility, then they should pass legislation that makes it illegal to be unemployed. Would you go for that?

I explained why I said by new power. Lets start off either zero powers, ok, now you add one, then another, then another. This is what the framers did, understand now that every line didn't give power. Maybe I didn't use the right term there, but you should get the point.

The clause you are talking about, again, doesn't give any power to the federal government. I'm not talking about here in this individual case, I'm talking in general. It doesn't give them power to do anything that wasn't already given.

Why don't you be honest, that article was witten in June 2008, well before he was POTUS, so it couldn't be part of his bill. Just saying...

If the Democrats, Obama included, keep leaning so far left, the outcome of the 2012 election is a far gone conclusion.

Individual responsibly doesn't mean they have to be responsible or they will be forced. Freedom isn't a golden bridge, its a bridge covered in spikes and must be protected. That doesn't mean you shouldn't hold individual responsibly high, you can do so easily while teaching people how to act responsibility. Whatever you do saying responsibility is more important than freedom is absurdity.
