Absolutely, no question about it, Bush although he not once proposed a 3.6 trillion dollar budget through his incredible influence on the govt. got Obama to implement the Bush policies 100% and those policies led to the 3.6 trillion budget. Amazing how that "stupid cowboy" was able to convince so many of the intellectual superior Democrats to go along with his policies.

Jan of 2001 the DOW was 10,587.59, Jan of 2009 the DOW was 8,281.22.
Today (Jan 12,2011) it is 11,848.

In the Jan of 2001 the National Debt was 5,727,776,738,304
Jan of 2009 brought us a National Debt of 10,628,881,485,510
Ohhh.. dude…that’s almost double.

See how easy it is to cherry pick your stats?

Talk to me when Obama finishes his second term and the republicans have spent the entire eight years saying no.:2wave:

And what is the debt Obama has created in two years? 10.6 to 14.0 so guess it is easy to ignore the past two years as a diversion from the past. In 8 years Bush added 4.9 trillion but in 2 plus years Obama has added 3.4 trillion. Deficit for fiscal year 2011 is projected over a trillion dollars again, guess that was Bush's fault as well.

Also since when is the DOW and indication to a liberal that things are better. I remember the "Bush Recession" when the Dow was over 14K.

Like I said…many times and more than likely will many more times.. to you. Comparing two four-year terms with one of a little over two years is disingenuous. If that is all you have to go with I guess it will have to do…seeing as your all your party has to run on is opposition to the current President.

No platform to speak of, just lets undo what Obama has put up. When you ask them what they will replace it with, its …crickets.

They will cut taxes....Oh wait Obama already did that, never mind

Until now no one had the opportunity to hear what the Republicans were going to do. After two years of Democrat control of Congress and a leftwing President, 3.5 trillion has been added to the debt. If the GOP House makes reductions in the deficit who is going to get credit for it in your world?

You choose to believe what you are told but ignore the actual facts. Repealing Obamacare will cut spending and impact the deficit. There is no question that the deficit will be cut, the question is who will you give credit to for that cut?

Oh goody we get to play semanitcal scatology

Only in your world, a tax cut is what Reagan and Bush did, cut rates, not give you a one time check that you can spend and then it is gone. Interesting that you don't seem to understand the difference.

The deal includes an extension of unemployment insurance and middle-class tax credits, a 2-percentage-point decrease in payroll taxes employees pay in 2011 (which the president said Tuesday would "add about $1,000 to the take-home pay of the average family"), and an estate-tax exemption up to $5 million.

Right, paying people to not work is the liberal mantra, brilliant? That is a tax cut? 2% cut in the payroll taxes cuts SS, which is a retirement supplement, who is going to pick up the slack? The take home pay that is taken out of SS isn't an income tax cut.

So now you do not support cutting taxes?

Which way will the wind blow next, lol

No, it's a cut, but a temporary one designed to further weaken SS. My thought is that the quicker Obama, and his group can destroy this country, and put in place their own vision of Social order, then that's what they do. It is destructive without cuts in spending, do we have your commitment to call for that as well?

I call a tax cut cutting taxes for people who pay taxes, not giving welfare to those who don't

So around and around we go on the merry go-round:

So now I guess you are going to say employees don't pay taxes eh?

Wonder why that was, seeing as they had two years to get their message out?

first they have to come up with a plan...to date they have nothing besides hanging a lame a** tag "The Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act "on a bill.

You choose to believe what you are told but ignore the actual facts.

what facts have i ignored?

Repealing Obamacare will cut spending and impact the deficit.

The last number i heard that it would save $219 billion.Single payer would save even more.

There is no question that the deficit will be cut, the question is who will you give credit to for that cut?

I will give credit to the President that is in the office when it happens. Much like Regain getting credit for the collapse of communism in the old soviet union. See, that wasn’t as hard as you made it to be now was it? :2wave:

You have ignored the actual results of Obama, 3.5 trillion added to the debt and 4 million more unemployed since the stimulus was signed

As for savings that a single payer would provide no country in the world let alone one as large as ours has ever had healthcare costs go down with a single payer. MA is an example of Obamacare and costs there have skyrocketed. Why would that be different nationally?

Of course you will give Obama credit just like you gave him blame for the legislation the past two years, right?

I didn’t ignore anything.. reread postnumber#182, only this time try it slowly, with your specs on. Maybe then you will get it, but I have my doubts.

Read it over and over again and it just says the same thing about you, Republican debt is bad, Democrat debt good. Stockmarket 11.8 good but stock market at 14k is bad. Do I have that right?

thank you for your honesty. That is indeed all this is really about - a shameless and blatantly selfish political charade disguised as saving the public from health care.

Don't be confused, the majority of the public wants Obamacare to go away. Taking the senate and presidency is merely the means to make it happen.
