Why should those who are depended on the taxes of the citizens get paid more than your run of the mill private sector worker (who contributes more to society BTW). If they dont like it, they should go look for private sector work.

If this turns out to be true, then who ever did it AND anyone with them who LET them do it... should be locked in a rubber room, and the room should be thrown away.

At the least, the family's claims need to be investigated. If they are screwing with the system, then they should be held accountable.

Strong suspicion that the claims made in the lawsuit are either a gross distortion or a total fabrication. Just doesn't pass the smell test. From the time the first responders arriive until an accident scene is cleaned up the area would be active with lots of people and lots of eyes. (and that activity would be magnified notably if there were fatalities and a drunk driver...)

agreed. However, the likelyhood that it did not or could not have happened should not negate the need for the initial investigation.

Not to say that Cole is correct, because we really don't have any idea what went on, but in the interest of playing Devil's Advocate, I've been a looky-lou at multiple severe auto accident/fatality scenes and I'm not a first responder or in law enforcement. In each case, I just happened to be driving by and my morbid curiosity got the better of me.

I think a police officer contributes more to society than the shift manager at McDonald's.
Also, see what happens to the air traffic control system when you start offering 30k/year.

Uuhhhh, you need to elaborate on exactly where I am wrong. Believe I said the same thing you just did. First responders, then additional police to secure area, investigators due to the fatality, maybe the coroners office. Lots of people and lots of eyes. Not real likely anybody is going to be stripping a corpse and posing it for pictures.

I really hope something is done about this officer and he can't work in the field again... this such a disgusting and perverted thing to do. Who wants to look at corpses like that, AND take photographs... He is definitely in the wrong field of profession..

I dont see police officers telling non-English speaking people what to do......... oh..... wait.

Did they say anything about POSTING them? Why do you doubt these people would do this? Or are you doubting they COULD do this?
