Re: N.J. lawmaker questions absence of Christie, lt. gov. during blizzard

This guy is a duchbag. He ordered the diversion of local snow clearing machines to clear state roads and then blame the mayors for not doing their jobs.. hope he gets booted out at the next election or is impeached for incompetence.

Gov. Christie praises his administration for work done after blizzard, chastises mayors for local efforts | NJ.com

    Got to love these quotes.

When asked about the hundreds of people trapped in their homes for days, Christie said unless they lived on state roads, it's not something his administration would have been able to change.
"If someone is snowed into their house, that's not our responsibility," Christie said.
Ahh the compassion... In other words people in New Jersey... you are on your own.. fat Christie cant be bothered in helping you..

When asked about mayors who said they were forced to divert their resources to unplowed state roads instead of clearing local roads Christie said, "I know who these mayors are and they should buck up and take responsibility for the fact that they didn't do their job."
Funny how he does not answer the question but instead attacks the mayors.. a classic sign that he has something to hide which most likely means the Mayors are right. If the State did force local resources to clear state roads, does that not mean dear Mr. Christie that YOU were not prepared enough for the storm? The state should have the machinery and man power (not to mention money) to be able to clear the state roads, and not have to rely on local governments to plug the gaps. Local governments will have a hard time as it is..

"I wouldn't change the decision even if I could do it right now," Christie said. "I had a great five days with my children. I promised that."
So he is a father first then a top elected official. Seriously, if you had pulled this stunt in the private sector you would have been fired on the spot for incompetence.

Hey Christie.. ever heard of letting your family go on vacation and you staying behind?

Christie confirmed reports that Lt. Gov. Guadagno was out of the state because she was vacationing with her ailing father.
So in other words.. you KNEW the storm was coming, and you KNEW that your deputy was out of state due to personal reasons, and yet you STILL went ahead and abandoned your state leaving it leaderless during one of the worst storms in history... and now you are blaming everyone else but yourself for the failures of your administration... now that is a typical right wing republican shmuck

Do you know how it works here in NJ? I've already laid it out in a previous post, why don't you read it so you don't look so foolish.

Perhaps some are attempting to reach the same depths that some on the right have sunk to regarding our President.

    Now you are baiting.

For one it was not just "another snow storm". It was predicted to be a bad one, and he knew when it would hit. You may get them ever year, but they are not as bad as this one was and he knew it. He dropped the ball, just as Bush did on Katrina and just as Obama in part did on the BP spill (although this one he could not have predicted).

Secondly it was not 30 k people but more like 15k and the heat wave was insane out of the normal, just like the snow storm. France like most European countries do not have air conditions in every home because in 99% of the time it is not needed. Not to mention the waste of money it would be. Like it or not, the heat in France rarely gets over 32 degrees C for more than a few days a year even in the south of the country. So if you expect such a nation to have every home outfitted with air con just in case that the heat wave of the century hits.. then you are at best naive or at worst another partisan anti-French American.

So which is it.. are you naive or another partisan anti-French American?

This is a lie. I live here in NJ. it was predicted to skirt the coast until 6 hours before it hit. feel free to prove me other wise with links or another poster here from jersey who disagrees.... try CC.

almost every year d00d...... we get a storm like this. /facepalm

so you are comparing 24" of snow, to a hurricane, levee break and a huge oil spill?

    Seriously?
