Please report me if you think I am breaking any rules. Thank you.

You made a claim, and then refused to quantify it. Fact is, NJ handled the blizzard fine. Christie, did nothing wrong, and is getting far more attention from folks like you than the mayor across the river.

You opened the door, now you want to close it? not how it works son.

I have never met Christie. It is his beliefs, his actions and his governmental policies that I detest.
Please tell us how this has anything to do with the issue from the OP.

Re: N.J. lawmaker questions absence of Christie, lt. gov. during blizzard

I just love love love the obvious partisan hypocrisy hackery here.

Back in May, Department of the Interior chief of staff Tom Strickland was in the Grand Canyon on a business trip participating in activities that included white-water rafting. He knew about the spill just before leaving, and still went (EXACTLY like Christie). Yet some who are defending Christie in this thread had no problems bashing Strickland for doing the exact same thing. Shame shame shame. Hilarous that these same posters were accusing ME of being a partisan hack. *facepalm*

He are some of the gems from the Strickland thread:

    Reverend Hellhound:
Uhm, if he is not needed to be there during this disaster, why do we need him at all?
I don't get why you seem to be defending this dept and its chief. I find thier behavior starteling to say the least...
It's abhorrent for this guy to leave on a rafting trip 3 days AFTER the spill on a supposed dept trip on my dime.
Uhm, I'm shocked that's what you compare this too.... Come now drop your partisanism. the dood screwed the pooch.
    Ockham:

Planned trip of no significant importance... or postpone and attend to a growing national oil spill disaster off the Louisiana coast. Yeah... the planned BS trip to the Grand Canyon seems MUCH more important. I mean, all those filght changes and what not... what a hassle right?
It's not partisan at all --- it's common sense as I already stated. Let me make it simpler to understand: If your house is being flooded with water because your pipes burst, you don't still take the day long ride in the country because it was "planned". Get it yet?
Well, that's because you care. If you really didn't give a **** one way or the other you might still go. And I think that's exactly what happened here... he and his Dept. and the WH didn't give a **** until they saw it was going to be big time PR... which is why the WH put out the "we were there from day 1" propaganda that Salazar and Napolitano spun over a dozen times in one day which was and is a lie.

I believe you would fix it or not go. That's not how our Government operates no matter how much some in this thread try to polish that turd.
Hardly. When the propoganda from the White House comes out saying the Government was there from day one, at least twelve times in one day... it's not partisan calling a bald faced lie what it is - a bald faced lie.

Perhaps you're not upset because of you and middleground and those who share your opinion on this issue, are to partisan FOR the White House and this President and would, if this were reversed and Bush were in the White House, would be all over this but since it's Obama, free passes abound.

See an unpartisan view would see Katrina as a consummate failure AND they would see this oil spill disaster and the Dept. of Interiors exemption of safety protocols as well as this badly scheduled trip for what it is... a consummate failure...

You're weak claim and middlegrounds weak claim of partisanship is simple in it's purpose... denial, deferral and misdirection. Simple political hack measures to put those critics on the defensive my levying unfounded claims and BS to muddy the water. I call BS... call it what it is. If you were a critic of the government handling of Katrina you should be a critic of the handling of the Gulf oil spill AND the Tennesee flooding.

When folks aren't being honest with themselves or others --- it's so obvious.
    Gill:
    NO, I wouldn't. I would repair it BEFORE I left or I wouldn't go.
    apdst:
I'm going to kill the water at the meter, open the garden hose to relieve the pressure from the system and haul ass on vacation and deal with it when I get home....

No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

Gov. Christie defends decision to stay in Florida during blizzard, requests federal aid | NJ.com
"I would have been doing the same thing here as I was there," Christie said. "I would not have been out driving a plow. I would be in a room somewhere on a telephone. That’s exactly the same thing I was doing in Florida."
