Hi shipmate. Good to see you and your ellipses. Also good to see you prognosticating skills remain as always. Your overblown rhetoric is in top form today.
On the plus side, when you visit a ship next time, you could end up with a date!
What will be even more interesting is to see how the troops react. I was at a political meeting where we were discussing this, and a libertarian soldier commented that DADT was also wanted by gay rights groups. To quote him, "If DADT gets repealed, and we have, like, flamboyant gays and transvestites and stuff, people will be getting beat to death. That's just how it is." Military people aren't the sort to protest, after all. They don't talk, they do.

I don't tolerate their message.. just their right to say it..
I don't tolerate racism.. I just don't believe people should be tossed in jail for saying something racist
People tolerating certain things like Holocaust denial or pedophilia just isn't popular or easily accepted by most of the general populace... Those are the facts
What is interesting is that the military, being primarily involved, was not allowed to vote on this issue.
As one example of Britain's internal workings:

Christian Kwabena Peat was forced to attend homosexual sensitivity training at work, administered by a lesbian.
"One of things that she said was, she asked the question, 'What makes you think that to be heterosexual is natural?' At which point, I walked out," Peat said.
Then Peat wrote a letter to the sensitivity trainer, explaining the Bible's position on homosexuality, and that God loved her and Peat loved her. He was suspended.
"They said that by me telling them about the Word of God, it constituted harassment and intimidation," Peat said.
Peat was just recently reinstated. But cases like his have been repeated over and over with doctors, nurses and adoptive parents being deemed unfit because of their Christian beliefs. Christians have been told not to speak about God in the workplace or they could be punished for offending homosexuals or Muslims.
And the British government recently tried to pass an equality bill that would have forced churches to hire practicing homosexuals or transsexuals.
