It's no biggie. It isn't like Mexico can harm us, seeing as how they already have so many internal problems.

It'd be some ****, if it turned out that the drone was doing recon from one of the drug cartels.

Well, the part where the Mexican official says it was being operated by the Mexican police would seem to indicate otherwise.

It would be even crazier if it turned out to be martians!

I guess Mexico is not just satisfied with a significant portion of their citizens invading the US,now they are using drones. I wonder what salad tossing politician allowed for that to happen.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

D'ya reckon the US government will try and get the cop extradited for espionage?

Only if we agree to extradite the drone for its suspected ties with drug cartels.

If it was being operated by the Mexican police, it is de-facto drug cartels.

    Martians would have been cooler.

Maybe it was the Six Million Peso Man
