Legally, once the restriction from his probation is lifted, he can have a dog. Personally, I would prefer he never got within 50 feet of any one's pet, let alone actually own one.

I think they should let him get the dog. fit his ass with a shock collar and have someone follow him around. any time he even thinks about abusing the dog, the shock the piss out of his ass.

we already put many restrictions on criminals after they have paid their dues. how is this any different?
Well some of those restrictions are questionable at best. In the end though his crime was not against another human, but another animal. Actually, it was illegal gambling and such the government was pissed about because they didn't get a cut. But since there was no human involved, there's probably less validity to infinite punishment as there are in cases of violent or sexual crime.

Fell asleep a lot in anatomy class, didn't you?
He touched her over her bra and underpants, she says, and guided her hand to touch him over his underwear

So, answer the poll. BTW, it's multiple choice.

    Article is here.
I think it is reasonable if the judge decides he shouldn't own a dog again.. I know of judges doing it before, and it works the same way with children. It's fair to determine people unfit, but I'll leave to the judge to decide. Personally, I don't think he should have a dog.. but I am not sure which breeds are used in dog fights. I know it's not all pit bulls. IDK.. he is a turdbag and I hope BlackDog rips him up.

I also liked some of the other choices to vote on.. I lol'ed. It was a hard choice.

I don't agree that animals are property.. at least not the theoretical context. Vick isn't convicted of destroying his own property, and that is not a crime. You can destroy your own property. And since when does property have it's own rights and legal charges associated for abuse of it?

In the theoretical sense, cattle and horses are property and are considered movable property because they be bought or sold with the land..

    Here is the history

The word cattle is derived from Middle English chatel, which meant all kinds of movable personal property [2], including of course livestock, which was differentiated from non-movable real-estate ("real property"). In later English, sometimes smaller livestock was called "small cattle" in that sense of movable property on land, which was not automatically bought or sold with the land.

Yea, I know... It's like he is trying to be cocky and start some sh*t, or he just wants to get in the news... or all of the above
