And then, if you were to put "r" after the "o"...(I don't even know how to finish this).

And Vick doesn't deserve ****. Oh poor wealthy football player! Can't have a dog now when it's obvious he cares so, so deeply about them....whatever will he do?!!?
Love the sarcasm, Kelzie. Vick is not some sympathetic folk hero.

If he needed money when he was an NFL star don't you think he'd need it even more now? It's an easy way for him to make money, he obviously won't be opposed to the same methods just because he went to jail.

Even more now? He's still an NFL star. Also, I didn't say he needed the money back when he was involved w/ dog fights. I said "there was potential for profit involved". The fact that someone is making millions doesn't curtail the strive to make more.

Yes, we have created certain privileges for our animals because we don't want to see our cute little pets beaten. Fine. But that was our choice. That doesn't mean that they aren't property, it's just property that we've set aside special rules in some cases for. But it's still property. When animals shelters fill up, they kill off animals. Why? Because it's an annoyance. They don't have the space/means to keep more, so for the sake of convenience, we kill off some to make room for others. Sure we say we do it "humanely"; but the fact remains that when it becomes too inconvenient for us; we destroy the animal. Why? Because they are not people, they are property.
