Anybody that voluntarily joins this class action law suit is saying "Look at me, I have no control over my kids, HELP ME"
Who would do that?
Not that I support any of this crap.
But isn't it amazing how people don't want the government to intervene in a genuinely horrific health problem for their nation, but they do want the government to step in and prevent gays from marrying in order to "Defend Marriage and prevent damage to America's social fabric" which is bull**** of course because a gay man would never harm fabric :2razz:

not to change the subject, but I'm sure we all agree on the subject anyway, it's a stupid lawsuit.
but I cant help but respond to the gay marriage thing.
I dont think the 90% of the American people who oppose gay "marriage" are as concerned about moral fabric as they are about changing the institution of marriage as it has been defined forever.
89% of the 90% are ok with civil unions

What a waste of judicial bandwidth.
To those with fat kids, who are suing McDonald's, I say this: Get off your own fat and lazy asses and feed them yourselves. The Government is not your children's parents. YOU are. So start doing some damn parenting, and quit blaming the fact that your kids look like the Goodyear blimp on anything or anybody but yourselves. McDonald's didn't do that to them. YOU did. So take a little responsibility, for once in your lazy-assed, pathetic lives.
I wonder how many parents with kids fatter than Santa Claus I just pissed off with this post?
Article is here.
I personally feel that this is a good example of predatory capitalism much like big tobacco introducing a product that is designed to create addiction leading to very bad health issues such as diabetes and heart disease. I mean the Chinese are getting fat now on Mickey Dees. The product is harmful and not sure what needs to be done because I love Ronald but...
Feel free to go for it in that market. It's called capitalism.
Economics isn't the reason these parents feed their kids McDonalds 5+ times per week. It's because they're too lazy to cook, they like junk food, and they don't give a crap about nutrition, appearance, or their health all that much. Pure and simple.
Which happens to be their right to do so. And it's my right to criticize them for it. Government and courts need to stay out.

Gee...why just pick on Ronald? Oh yea, he gives toys with happy meals that force parents to buy them. Let's do away with happy meals and see if people get thin. Whoops I don't think that will happen. People are still eating at McDonalds, Whattaburger, Wendy's, Burger King, Jack in the Box, White castle, . We better shut down all burger joints. People will surely get skinny now. Whoops, they are still eating at KFC, Popeyes, Chick-filet, Golden Chick, Taco Bell, Pizza hut. Gosh, what to do what to do?
Here's an idea, let people run their businesses as they see fit. Let people have the freedom to eat at them or not and let the free market decide.
I am so sick of people acting like it's the governments job to treat American citizens like ignorant stupid dopes who must be coerced into behaviors they deem to be good for them.
Doesn't anyone care about freedom and individual responsibilty anymore.
Whaaaa!! my child is forcing me to buy a happy meal.
Now that, is an unfit parent.
I'm saying that these corporations target age groups that may develop serious health problems in the future by consuming their products. More awareness I think is needed, and sometimes yahoo does this with some good information about how many calories, fat and sodium are in the products we eat.
Don't be a party pooper. Happy meals are fun and so are the commercials.
