An Army doctor who refused to deploy to Afghanistan because he challenged President Obama's eligibility for office has pleaded guilty to refusing orders.

Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin of Greeley, Colo., pleaded guilty to one of two charges against him, and his court-martial continues today in a military court in Maryland. Lakin faces up to 18 months in prison and dismissal from the service.

You know, I don't know where Obama was born (Wait, yes I do. It says so on his birth certificate), but I do know where Col. Lakin's new address is going to be - The Brig, which is where he should be.

Another douche bag birther is about to get what's coming to him.

Article is here.

Note - he's not getting boxed up because of his beliefs about Obama.
He's getting boxed up because of his lack of attention to his orders.

Agreed. Did he really think he would get away with this? :lamo

Pffft you dirty liberal leftists just can't admit the truth to yourselves... ;)

Good! This officer circumvented the system and now he's paying the price.

Well technically Hawai'i isn't part of the US so he's not a citizen. :ssst:

Actually, technically, as well as otherwise, Hawaii IS part of the US, having become the 50th state on August 21, 1959, approximately 2 years before Obama was born there.

You're only saying that because California (that craaaaaaaaaaaazy crazy state) put Hawaii's Certificate of Live Birth on display at a news conference. They wouldn't let us actually touch it or anything. What if it's fake?! If it was real, why do we have to trust California's word for it, huh? Why won't they let us pass it over to David Caruso so that we can get the real deal to check it out?

Besides, it's a Certificate of Live Birth, not a birth certificate! California could've faked it! Where's the seal? Where's the signature? This is such a load of crap!

Oh hell, it doesn't matter, anyway.

Anybody with a brain knows that Hawaii was born in Kenya.

Hawaii's Legal Case Against the United States

You might be interested in that. Not sure how much I believe, as I only really read this article, but it seems to be a compelling argument.

"But Sai points out that a Congressional joint resolution is American legislation restricted to the boundaries of the United States. The key to Hawaii's legal status, he says, remains with the 1893 executive agreement between two heads of state: President Grover Cleveland and Queen Liliuokalani."

When it comes to Obama's citizenship, it's a part, enough.

Unless, of course, Obama wasn't actually born there, then that's a different story.

Even if he wasn't born in Hawaii and was born in Rhodesia, or where the hell ever, his mother was an American citizen, which makes all the rest of it irrelevant.

BTW I don't really care about where Obama was born I just find the whole Hawai'i thing interesting and it's relevant to this discussion.

Good. The man is an embarrassment to the uniform in trying to get out of his service in such a way.

I was thoroughly surprised to find out that we forcefully overthrew their monarchy when we showed up. I thought our relations with them were always peaceful.

I really do think the argument that the Newlands Resolution, which declared Hawai'i a state by a joint resolution, is not applicable because Hawai'i wasn't a territory of the United States and therefore wasn't bound by US law, is an incredibly interesting argument to make, and much more interesting, IMO, than talking about whether or not Obama is a US citizen.

It does bring the question up, though. If the annexation isn't legal under international law, then Hawai'i really isn't a territory of the United States, and therefore Obama can't be president as he isn't a US citizen. :D

Besides, I don't want Obama to get kicked out of office, because he's not really a natural born American citizen. I wanna be sittin' in front the TV on election night, 2012, with a 12 pack and watch that mother ****er get voted the **** out of office by the American people, because he's a no good libbo, America hatin' piece of ****.

That's gonna be way, way more fun.

Providing he survives his primary.

Hopefully he is at least getting the same punishment that a low ranking soldier would get. Seeing how he is a officer and therefore should setting an example for all the lower ranking soldiers he should get harsher punishment.

Well, he is on drugs

He was addicted to pain killers years ago. Doesn't mean he's on drugs. :)

Do you watch The Ed Show? Just wondering because The Drugster is his pet name for rush.
