What he needs is a commander to remind him how important his job is and explain that he is serving the country... not the president. This is what people should be telling the man instead of trying to change his opinion about Obama (he has a fixed belief that probably won't change).
I think he should get six years vice six months. He's an officer and a medicla doctor, means he's smarter than the average grunt and should have known better and as an example to anyone else, he should be held to a higher standard.
