Although, I'd say that this might open the door to medical waivers (with service limitations).
Beats me why we can't waive a lot of physical limitations, especially those minor ones that keep volunteers out of the service.
A friend was denied enlisting during the Korean conflict for being nearsighted...he had already become a mechanic, with 2 years training at a civilian trade school, but the army wanted him to be perfect. Another person, college graduate, was denied an officer commision for being slightly color blind. They would take him as an enlisted person, tho. He declined.
I don't know if the military is still so fussy, but if they are, some gays might be denied the opportunity to serve on trivial issues.

I wonder what they do with intersex people?

Intersex people = People with ambiguous genitalia or people with actually both genitalia.

Unless he doesn't sign it...which seems unlikely, to say the least...

This seems like a Win-Win for the Dems.

They get to say "The repubs didn't vote for it in the senate" (which is true, the first time?), AND they get the repeal.

He has repeatedly promised that he would indeed sign it if it ever got to his desk. I hope he lives to sign it!

With all the crazy-a$$ hate mongers out there, I just can't believe that we've arrived at this point in my lifetime!

I swear to god, I love this country so much!!!
