Definitely. A waste of money? Most certainly. But people are free to do so. She wanted to take the time, it was denied twice, she quit. Right there is the proper response if you somehow put your religious convictions above your financial well being. Suing...ok a bit overboard. But this **** happens all the time and it will be the same as any other pointless, useless lawsuit.
You understand it is Attorney General Eric Holder bringing this case right?

Is he the fool you were referring to?

Don't you think he should know if he can win a case or not, or is he trying to make a statement with this case?

Hajj generally happens at the end of the calendar year. This year's Hajj was in the middle of November (IIRC). I dont know when she requested her time off.

The date for Christmas is aligned with other theologically important days and how do you know Easter doesn't line up with Christ's execution? BTW, Easter is roughly aligned with Passover; Easter being the Chrisitan equivalent of that holiday...

Whichever is the case, I'd find it hard to believe that killing animals would not be just as illegal in London as it is here in the USA. As for your non-caring attitude, that's one of the fundamental aspects of the criminal mind. And as for you animals out there, get those teeth sharpened up. And sharpen up those horns and hooves, you got some barbaric, uncivilized, animal-killing savages to go to work on. Do it ! Bwa ha ha ha (Burt Reynolds laugh).
    Ah lady, get over yourself.

I don't care about animals I plan to eat. Short of it not being poisoned or ill ofc so something doesn't happen to the meat but otherwise.

    Criminal mind eh? Kinda cool

You still haven't answered my question. Are you a vegan? Not a hypocrite are you?
Damn animal rights people are annoying. It is nice you hold up that tradition for your side

    9. I accrued 9 days per contact year. after the first 9 months I had 9 paid days, that is almost two weeks since they don't charge you for weekends. another year and I would've had 18 days, fully enough to take the 3 weeks off, if I had saved up my days.

Why was it so important to her to take it in 2008 instead of, like this poster is saying, actually earn the time?
she, like so many others, wanted it when she wanted it and everyone else be damned. that or she was looking to make a statement.

First, I'm not a lady. I'm a man. Second, yes I'm a vegan. Love Boca Burgers and Morningstar bacon, sausage patties and links (all veggie - soy protein). I guess I was having so much fun stomping on your message about killing animals, I forgot to mention it.

Though it might not fit into the "religion" of Islam (or imperialist ideology masquerading as a religion), life after death is something we all think about at times, and none of us really knows what's going to happen afterwards. Maybe those who say "I don't care about animals I plan to eat" and "Damn animal rights people are annoying", will find themselves cornered by a 1600 pound Alaskan Kodiak bear, who, looking you straight in the eye, in perfect English says "I don't care about animals I plan to eat...including humans".

That's not quite right. The majority of Christian holidays occur on pagan holidays. That's why Christmas is where it's at, and Easter is where it's at (it's also the reason why there's an Easter Bunny, do you know why there is an Easter bunny?). The plain and short of it was that in order to encourage others to switch to Christianity, they kept the holidays and celebrations the same.

Haha, now how did I guess you were vegan.

I don't think I'd care very much about what a bear thinks if it corners me, why should I? I'd be too busy preparing myself for death
It is a bears nature and diet to eat meat.

if you are going to compare Islam to Christianity, I am sure that on the surface you can find many similarities in the religion itself. Problem is when you realize that Islam is stuck in the 7th century, while Christianity has progressed.

I don't think that Christianity tells its followers to kill those that don't believe in Christ do they?
