Because it is about a different issue altogether. You really should learni what is at issue before you join in on a discussion. I'm just saying . . . .

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

J, you need to be told as well?

It is about providing meals, and assuring that our tax dollars pay for nutrious food. No where in the bill is anyone telling you what you can eat, and to suggest that your rights are bieng violated is either dishonest or ignorant.

You may oppose it for many reasons, but try not to exaggerate and be silly. It's not too much to ask.

I'd say we don't need a multi billion dollar bill to do that, heck it should be directed at the state level, if not the local school board.

Maybe we don't. But, that's not the point ebing addressed. We will never be able to talk actual issues as long as so many go silly and say the government is telling us what to eat.

Well, it damned well should be! We can't afford this nanny state crap.

People worry about losing liberty, I'd say being vigilant is a good thing where liberty and freedom are concerned.

Rich people eat like **** too... Just sayin. All the money in the world being pumped into this issue won't change this.

    thats alright with you.
You can do whatever you want, but don't think for a minute that the schools are going to feel obligated to provide junk food. You will have to provide that for yourself.
Seems to me a healthy lunch would include enough food that the oreos are not needed. Just sayin'
