The US diplomatic cables reveal how the US seeks dirt on nations opposed to its approach to tackling global warming; how financial and other aid is used by countries to gain political backing; how distrust, broken promises and creative accounting dog negotiations; and how the US mounted a secret global diplomatic offensive to overwhelm opposition to the controversial "Copenhagen accord", the unofficial document that emerged from the ruins of the Copenhagen climate change summit in 2009.

I thought the left claimed the world hated us for this type of behavior while Bush was in office?

Funny how the egg is dripping non stop off the faces of the left in this country. I remember how they stood before the American people claiming that Bush was guilty of strong arming, threatening, lying and financially aided allies and enemies alike of America to get the world to believe what they wanted them to believe.

Nope, I drew that conclusion from some of the other posts I've seen you make that had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with subject.

Actually you are lying because I have never stated one way or another about either one.

For the record I could care less whom he exposes. If they are guilty then the public needs to know. The only problem is if he was to expose top secret info. Then I would have a problem with it. But for the record, I find it extremely funny that he has exposed Hillary for the bitch she is and how she gives the country a bad name and the fact that Obama is being exposed as the inexperienced train wreck we warned the country of back in 08.

Um, actually, no. I'm not lying. I said flat out that the posts I read that led me to this conclusion had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the subject.

In other words, I exhibited an honesty you'll have trouble finding in discussions on subjects this heated.

At any rate, it sounds like I was wrong, so I apologize.
 
Our rallying cry against the Obama administration should be the same one we used against the Bush administration:

NOT IN OUR NAME!!

This is something where Liberals and Conservatives need to put aside their dislike of each other, and get together on. Don't like the abuses committed by the Bush administration? Call Obama to the carpet. Don't like the abuses committed by the Obama administration? Call Bush to the carpet. You can't have it both ways. ONE standard must apply for all. With what these clowns in office are doing to this country, I would think that the actions committed by these politicians should mean more than the political rhetoric that they are shoveling at the rest of us.

Face it. When it comes right down to brass tacks, there is only one political party in America - The Republicrats. Their mascot is a donkey's ass sticking out of an elephant's ass. The freedoms that Liberals and Conservatives alike enjoy in America are very much at risk, and the hyperpartisanship and political bickering continues at their own peril, as well as the peril that exists for the rest of us.

The sooner ALL these idiots are removed from office, the safer America will be. I have another suggestion - Adding the names of ALL politicians to the don't fly list. They are traitors.

Why would a "global emergency" be somehow immune to politics? Nothing international has ever worked that way.

You send politicians to a summit, you get political results.
 
Based on what this latest cable has to say, the world is doomed.

Our leaders and the aristocrats are going to be taken care of if anything bad goes down. The rest of us are just screwed.

If you want to survive should anything happen, start expanding your own skill set and resources now. Our governments are not going to help us.

You've got to be kidding. Bush never did anything along the lines of what is being reported in the guardian. I really wish we had a "functioning" free press and not this biased bunch of mr obama worshipers.

The system is broken. Until it's fixed we will never get good government. The system rewards the kind of behavior we find so appalling. As long as it is rewarded, it will persist.
