I was wondering what happened to and why the swamp draining Maxine Waters (D-CA) investigation was put on ice.

Seems we could be adding more people to the "need to be investigated list". Of course Barney Frank (D-MA) is playing dumb. He's had ample practice of course, most notably playing dumb about the gay whore house being run from Casa Frank.

Did Barney Frank’s Financial Services Committee Conceal Information from Ethics Investigators?

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) is frustrated that her ethics investigation has been suspended – shortly before she was supposed to face an investigative hearing to look at the charges against her. The pause came abruptly in October, when investigators of the House Ethics Committee discovered a critical piece of information – an E-mail from Waters’s Chief of Staff – that had not been turned over to committee investigators. Now – according to the Washington Post – investigators are trying to determine why the E-mail was not discovered until after the formal investigation had concluded:

The action is part of an overall broadening of the Waters inquiry by the committee to look more deeply at her office’s interactions with senior aides to the committee’s chairman, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), on legislation meant to help the bank, according to the sources.

it all comes down to character

    yet still he sits

another gift to the neanderthals from the washington-knows-best crowd

    ie, there's more

The Federal Election Commission is investigating a complaint that Rep. Charles Rangel improperly used his National Leadership PAC to fund his legal defense on ethics charges for which he was censured Thursday, The Post has learned.

The FEC is acting on a complaint by the National Legal and Policy Center filed after The Post reported last month that Rangel paid nearly $400,000 from his PAC.

The center expects to file a second complaint this week contending that Rangel's PAC money included at least $195,000 in donations from lobbyists with business before the House Ways & Means Committee, of which he is a member.
Rangel accused of misusing funds on his defense in previous ethics investigation -

    meanwhile, maxine waters

you probably (don't) know that her investigation was precipitously put off 2 weeks ago

it was all very mysterious, ethics would not give reporters inquiring intently a hint of a shoulder

it all had something to do with some email the cmte said it received AFTER its indictment of ms martyr

well, it turns out the mysterious email in question was, indeed, from mr frank
