Satellite Image Shows Star of David on Iranian Airport Building's Roof - FoxNews.com

The satellite image of the Airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran, also known as Iran Air, was taken by Google Earth, according to Ynetnews.com. Local reports say the building was "built by Israeli engineers" who worked in the country before the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

 This is simply wonderful. I can't believe it wasn't noticed in over 30 years. They should let it stay ;)

But they won't. Fox should run the story into the ground when they do change it.

This thread reminds me of a movie called "The Infidel". It's about a semi-devout Muslim, whose mother dies, and he finds out after her death that he is really Jewish. So, maybe, Achmadinejad is really Jewish, but just doesn't know it yet. That plot would make for one hell of a movie. LMAO.

That's fairly funny too. I wonder how many other buildings, groups of buildings, etc. around the world have this kind of symbolism built into them... you know, so that you'd only see it from above?

I bet a **** load of architects have been laughing their asses off for years on stuff like this.

$600,000 dollars because a few people are offended at something you can only see in a satellite? That part I don't find funny that could be used for something else or at least saved instead of spent.

In some countries it's illegal to show the swastika - so in consideration of that it's not that bothersome, really.

So you don't have a problem spending the taxpayer's money for something that isn't necessary? I'm sorry I had you pegged as a conservative republican.

:rofl Why on earth would you think of me as a Conservative Republican to begin with?

Just what is paid for in this country that is unnecessary? A hell of a lot - the whole international warfare thing, for one.

I do prefer to put the needs and wants of our citizens before the demands and desires of the international ilk.

If the citizens want to spend some money to fix what they KNOW is there and consider it to be an eyesore and an embarrassment then I see no problem with that. Especially considering that some of OUR CITIZENS suffered through the holocaust.

Isn't it bad enough for you that the building was built to begin with - WITH OUR OWN tax money?
