I think that now a business interest might be at stake they might do something about the wilileaks.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

According to a report I read this may actually be Bank of America. I suppose the Vampire Squid will live on.

"Assange also told the magazine that his group has material on many businesses and governments, including in Russia, and that it has some documents on pharmaceutical companies, which he did not identify."

I wasn't so ready to jump on the "he's-gonna-be-capped" bandwagon until I read that. Even he isn't assassinated by some shadowy Umbrella-esque corporation or a Russian-hired mobster, the real assassins could easily be camouflaged by the fact that Assange has basically made an enemy out of everyone.

It'll basically be a redux of "Who shot Mr. Burns" when literally everyone in Springfield had a motive.

Will the bank leak do more than confirm what we already know?

Maybe this won't get swept under the rug like the 14 investment firms investigation did.
