Obama Needs Stitches After Being Hurt During Basketball Game

Kind of feel sorry for him. He gets a shellacking, then he gets his mouth busted, now he's in for another shellacking.

It all comes with the territory anymore. Bush took his share of "shellacking" as did Clinton. There was a time when we respected our CIC regardless of his party affiliation. Those times are long gone. I think the Ivory Tower lost it's ivory after Watergate and Vietnam.

He can take it and even stays gracious about it. It's the sign of a great man.

I follow your own news probably more then you and most Americans do, I find it fascinating.

All I meant to say was, don't count your chickens before they're hatched. Alot can change in 2 years...

So true. My German relatives know as much as I do about my country and as soon as I do. In fact in watching their news things are revealed that are not mentioned here. People like Apdst think the whole world revolves around the U.S. but in reality there is a whole other world out there and we are no longer the center of the universe. Not sure we ever were except in the minds of some.

Yes a lot can change in a 2 years although i don't believe Obama is down for the count by any means. It's just wishful thinking on the part of the hateful right. The republicans better come up with something better than "no" in the next two years are they are toast in the next election. The American people are watching.

If you don't think the world revolves around the US, why is it that every time the US economy goes to **** the world follows right behind? If we're not the center of the universe, we're certainly the engine of the economic train and if we derail we have the power and wealth to bring down the rest of the world.

So keep telling yourself that Europe has anything on the US as far as power. We didn't need to reinvent the dollar because our economy was screwed up. Ya'll are the ones sporting the brand new Euro. We'll keep our dollars, thanks. It's less complicated that way.

I love when Libbos get all upset about their boy getting picked on.

I love when extreme conservatives act like they are so superior to liberals when they engage in the same type of petty partisan attacks. It's hilarious that some people always seem to find a way to turn a non-story into a partisan attack message. Yes, we get it...you don't like Obama. Considering the myriad of things that the guy is worthy of criticism for, it's sad that you have to scrape the bottom of the barrel. Is it really that hard to find material to go after the guy for?

So you are saying Bush is a great man. How nice of you.

As I remember Obama hasnt been gracious about getting his ass handed to him in Nov. As a matter of fact, he has been in denial just like most dems.

Conversely why is it when the rest of the world has problems we see it instantly on our stock exchanges? We have a large economy so there has to be an effect on the world economy. That, however, doesn't mean we are the center of the universe. I suppose you think we are "The Greatest Country in the World" right? If so, what are we the greatest at? Education? Nope. Leader in exports? No. Strong dollar that is the standard of all countries? Less and less every day. Health care for it's citizens? Nope. Standard of Living. Nope. It goes on and on.

If we're not the center of the universe, we're certainly the engine of the economic train and if we derail we have the power and wealth to bring down the rest of the world.

It's a global economy if you haven't noticed. Whatever happens anywhere with any of the major players has a ripple effect.

So keep telling yourself that Europe has anything on the US as far as power. We didn't need to reinvent the dollar because our economy was screwed up. Ya'll are the ones sporting the brand new Euro. We'll keep our dollars, thanks. It's less complicated that way.

I hate to break this to you but China and Russia just dropped the dollar. And we're are not in such great shape ourselves if you haven't noticed. We could still follow suit of some of the European countries. Are you ignoring the God awful debt we have which was a precursor to the problems with some of the members of the European Union if you hadn't noticed?

Bush had his strong points. However when you have an attack dog like Cheney you don't need to say anything.

Can you site me examples of where Obama lashed out and lost his cool? I'll be waiting. Considering he's been called everything but a whiteman I think he's been quite gracious.

To those who are laughing or handing out sarcasm at an incident where someone got hurt. You people make me sick. :(

I think a good long stare in the mirror is in order.

Obama need a long stare in the mirror before he passes another one of his liberal and costly agendas that WE all have to pay for and ruining this country. Poor baby.

There's a show and multiple movies based on laughing at people getting hurt. It's called "Jackass". It seems it was and is very popular.

And as I recall, many a comedian got laughs by poking fun at Bush choking on a pretzel, crashing his mountain bike, and Cheney shooting one of his friends with bird shot. Just saying.

We MUST look the other way when it comes to what liberals do my friend. You just don't get it!!!!!!! :lamo

Lol, so true.

First of all Not Liberal.

I've never seen you take a Right Wiing stance, on anything. Feel free to list the one, or two Right Wing issues you agree with.

Secondly you know I critisize him when he ****s up.

Sure, when he's not Liberal enough, or you think that he may have given in to the Righties.

If the Republican party put someone up who was a Conservative moderate, had some good ideas and good positions, I'd support him.

Yeah...ok...whatever, my man.

But just because in other threads I don't wanna support Palin, doesn't mean I'm Anti-Conservative. Your mistake there buddy.

Name one Conservative that you do support. A real Conservative, not a RINO.

It's a good thing the world has revolved around the U.S. for as long as it has. If not for The United States of America, the freest nation in the history of the world, the bright shining beacon of freedom that people literally died for, the world would be a much sadder place.

Who turned the tided in WW1? Who made the difference in WW2? Who crushed a worldwide takeover by the Communists? If you name any country, other than The United States of America, then you would be gravely mistaken.

What I always find interesting about the statement I placed in bold is that many conservatives were annoyed when liberals did that around Bush and Cheney. And yet they are now behaving in the exact same way. Demonstrates a number of things. Conservative hypocrisy, and the fact that those of us who say that stupid conservative behaviors are equivlient to stupid liberal behaviors are correct.

We're just showing the same respect and courtesy that Liberals show to, well, anyone they disagree with. A teachable moment for the Libbos, perhaps?

More of an exposure that conservatives are no better. Demonstrates that exactly what conservatives claim liberals do... they do, too. It's hypocrisy.

In November of 2008, I vowed to show Obama the same amount of respect and courtesy, that was shown the Bush, for 8 years.

I didn't create this environment, so don't blame me. Look at all the Libbos, that swear up-n-down, that they're not Libbos, yet support every Left wing issue and harangue anything that could possibly considered a Right wing issue. Basically, for me, it's a response to the constant, "yooz-a-racist, sexist, homophobe, bigot, war monger," argument that they always invoke.

Again, don't blame me, blame them.

Oh Lawdy Mrs Molly!!!! I hope the baby is ok. I hate to see him not able to speak. I'm already missing his voice!!!! :lamo

Don't worry yourself I understand his teleprompter made it through the incident unscathed and his speeches will be able to go forward meaning the lies will be uninterrupted by this mishap.

Although there is no word on the condition of his speech writer, or even if this fabricator was involved.

No film at 11:00.

I just have say that I agree with apdst too. What is said about Obama is nothing compared to the Hate directed at president Bush. Not even close, and Obama has shown himself to be the divider of all time. The only thing he has united is the hateful name callers who blindly follow his every lying word.

Good. So you admit that you are equivelent to the "Libbos" that you constantly rail against. Good that you can admit this.

This is precisely what conservatives do, only on the other side of the issue.

And this has been going on since the two party system was invented. The Federalists and Democratic-Republicans went after each other, a lot. Some of the Whig-Democrat elections were VERY nasty. How about the gunfire in Congress incident? If you want to blame someone, you'll have to go back in time a couple of hundred years.

Again, don't blame me, blame them.

You're both at fault.

I love people who claim that actions of an individual are actually actions of some collective, and who use the actions of others to somehow justify their own actions.

You would have liked my opinons, before I was incessantly called a racist, because I'm a Conservative.

Had I been born in Germany, around 1897, I would have been called a, "Jew Lover", at my present age; and been told that I served my, "Jewish masters", the same way that I've been told--on this very discussion forum--that I serve my, "white masters".

Perhaps you're just miffed that everyone doesn't think just like you?

Living in the past are you? Now we advocate torture, have our own remote prison camp, and best of all we attack and occupy countries that were not a threat to us. Then there's the so called patriot act that give unconstitutional powers to the government. We have lost our bright shining beacon in the name of fighting terrorism.

You would have liked my opinons, before I was incessantly called a racist, because I'm a Conservative.

You probably would have like mine a whole lot more before I was called a racist, a socialist, a hater, and told I hate the troops because I'm liberal. It cuts both ways, apdst.

Had I been born in Germany, around 1897, I would have been called a, "Jew Lover", at my present age; and been told that I served my, "Jewish masters", the same way that I've been told--on this very discussion forum--that I serve my, "white masters".

I've seen you post. The sentence above applies to you, not me.
