Generally, I think you have a point. However, a breach of the public trust is a very serious violation of the law and should be treated with the full weight of the law in sentencing.

Seems to me you are the one that has trouble with "facts" and is in denial. He was convicted by a jury. Get ****ing over it! And we keep hearing about some ****ing elections that has nothing to do with his conviction.

even if it happens, he will always be guilty of not having an ounce of respect for law.

Clearly GOP Texans love their crooked politicians....

To be honest, tho, I doubt Texans can ever achieve the level of Chicago crookedness...

I'm glad he got convicted, and I wished d Rangle had gotten a little more than a sanction thought. However, from what I understand is that this sanction, basically ruins the mans political career. However I'm in no way shape or form defending what Rangle did I wished he got more than just ruined career.

you do understand that shyster is not the correct term to apply to a major league defense attorney. John Edwards on the other hand would fit that description

he most likely would have lost even worse and the appellate record would be not as helpful
