Actually I was just asking. I'm not the one that keeps bringing up names that have nothing to do with this thread.

Just don't like liberal hypocrites piling on without all the facts. DeLay resigned in 2006 and this case has been ongoing now for almost 8 years. It will be appealed and more than a few attornies claimed that DeLay didn't break any laws. Austin is one of the few bastions of liberalism left in the state. What are you going to do when the verdict is overturned on appeal?

Didn't he also influence the redistricting in Texas that shaped GOP voting majorities?

There are a lot of threads here that many of the same ones complaining about diversion from the thread topic actually participate in doing just that on other threads

Now, now, you know better than to bring up something irrelevant in this thread.

I will admit that I was wrong and that he is guilty, but won't do so based upon the testimony that actually was presented. DeLay didn't do anything wrong according to that testimony and he was convicted by a bunch of people just like you, partisan liberals who paid no attention to the testimony.

Criminals are criminals, I don't care if they are GOP or Dem, RIght or Left, and all should be punished and removed. Our country is f'd up because instead of weighing the action of man, you weight his political beliefs.
