The world is at a tipping point in so many issues that it truly is inevitable for a total global conflict.

China will very likely back N Korea in a conflict.....and in turn Russia will likely back China

If America waits much longer for the imminent global conflict then the less chance of America's survival.

Anyone with an I.Q. high enough can see the clear and distinct pattern and steps leading up to a total global war....
I hate to agree with you but I think perhaps your are correct. History does repeat it's self time after time with us human species who fail to learn from our past mistakes.

I am all for diplomacy and peace, but South Korea needs to to stop letting the north push them around. It's time for the south and Japan to use full military action. Diplomacy is NOT working and the attacks against South Korea get worse every time.

Until the North Korean regime begins to understand that neither extortion efforts nor military aggression will produce benefits, it will not likely change its behavior.
If NK's ability to feed it's people has deteriorated to the point where far too many people are starving--especially if the politically elite and the military are going hungry--then NK will be forced, out of necessity, to invade the much more prosperous South, so as to obtain a working source of food.

Basically, my point is, this may not be their usual extortion to try and scare the crap out of everyone. It could possibly be an attempt, by the NK government to maintain control in the face of a starving, out of control populace.

Japan doesn't have enough combat power to launch an offensive.

Not to mention, the Koreans and the Japanese hate each other's guts and livers.

Hate is a strong word. They don't hate each other. They have many differences but what they both have in common is opposition to the North Korean regime. Mainstream media has already reported that the Japanese have but their troops on high alert.

Uh, yeah, they do. They've hated each other for centuries and the Sokos haven't forgotten about the atrocities committed by Japan during it's colonization of Korea, from 1910-1945. During this time, there was the Kanto Massacre, where 6,000 Koreans were murdered. The Empress Myeong-Seong was murdered by Japanese hitmen. The Japanese rounded up 100,000-200,000 Korean women to be used as sex slaves; they were known as, "comfort women". 300,000 to 1 million Koreans were used as slave labor. Unit 731 was organized by the Japanese, to perform outrageous human experiments on Koreans. It was basically an Asian version of the Holocaust. Yeah, the Koreans hate the Japanese.

The Japanese have their troops on high alert, but it's to defend Japan, not to launch an offensive measure to protect SoKo. I doubt that SoKo would allow Japanese troops to be landed on Korean soil. Diplomatically speaking, that could be the worst thing. It may cause an alliance between the North and the South, against Japan. Can you say, "jumping out of the frying pan into the fire"?
