If you acted like a mature person regarding posting, you wouldnt be giving your Party a black eye.

Now PLEASE... take a deep breath.... log off for an hour...... and then comeback and we can DISCUSS things without getting personal.
I don't have a party, I am a conservative, I am proud of that ideology and sorry that I confuse people like you with facts and give you the sites for those facts. I don't really worry about what you and Obama supporters think of me because mostly what they think is based upon ignorance and feelings. Now if you want to discuss issues, I am here but if you want to focus on personal attacks then I see no purpose in responding to you. It seems that providing facts is immature in your world which makes you more of a liberal than a libertarian.

What do you think the reasoning behind their move was? What is not being said here?

I could say you sound alot like Guy Incognito-a faux libertarian who really suffers from class envy and a desire to tax the rich in order ot obtain"social justice". I am a conservative with libertarian leanings. I oppose much of what the religious right pushes but since their form of fascism doesn't directly affect me I find them less of a pain than the socialists on the left that seek to confiscate more private property.

and you really are in no position to discuss original thoughts.

Kids normally cant touch their mind, give them a drill and they can. I can use a drill to touch god

So what is your expertise in defining a Conservative? Looks to me like you have stereotypes of Conservatives but really don't understand what a Conservative believes. that seems to be your mode of operation, you think therefore it is. Saw that with your comments regarding bank lending and a lack of understanding about where banks get the money to lend. Not sure what any of this has to do with the thread topic though.

So to get back on the thread topic please tell me how long you believe someone should get unemployment benefits. As a Conservative I do not support extension any longer than the original 26 weeks.

Funny how the liberals want to extend unemployment forever yet just 4 short years ago when Bush was president were whining about deficit spending. Boy the worm has turned for you guys.

Tell us, how well has the government done at fixing the economy? It's been what? Three years and 8 million jobs and still no light at the end of the tunnel? Yeah! Keep trying to blame Bush. That's not going to gitcha very far.
This "recession" has not touched me either other than the fact I have lost thousands in my investments. I have still worked, paid my bills, ate well and kept warm. Myself, I lay the responsibility square on the shoulders of the GOP and those enabling their "rich get richer/poor gets poorer" and neocon modus operandi for getting our country where it is today. First, by supporting causes of the problems and second by fighting any attempts to correct them. Obama's just a president. He is not a dictator. Any and everything, good OR bad, he attempts do to remedy the situation has been and will be met with firey resistance from the GOP. Politics and party first. Americans be damned. That's the GOP plan of attack these days. That is why I am no longer a republican.

But the democrats have to know they cannot just spend their way of of this either. There has to be some cooperation. I don't expect any anytime soon. I suspect the democrats will just serve back to the GOP what the GOP has been serving up to them, once the newly elected GOP guys get sworn in and seated. Business, or the lack thereof, as usual.
