Actually, I'm pretty well read on the Constitution. I suspect that you and I would disagree about what is Constitutional and what isn't. So, I'm asking you to be specific and list some spending things that are not Constitutional rather than make a meaningless, generalization.

Im not making my point correctly. I think a consumption tax is bad for business.

    here are the special rules

47% paying no federal income taxes but they can vote for those who want to jack up the rates on the top 2% who pay more and more and more

    that is really unfair

are we talking about the constitution as it was intended or the constitution as raped and reshaped by the Dem judges under FDR?

obviously the commerce clause does not justify stuff like the ATF. or the war on drugs

and the commerce clause does not justify Title VII

and social security medicare medicaid, AFDC are all or were unconstitutional

You can start with the Department of Education.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

How about that "play fair" bone for the 47% that earn income but don't pay any Federal Income tax? Raising the tax on the top 2% doesn't make any sense as it serves no purpose and won't make a difference in the deficit and sends the wrong message to all income earners.

Doubt those total 47% of the people who don't pay any Federal Income taxes.
