    What exactly?

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

Just goes to show how bad the corruption was, even Pelosi couldn't turn a blind eye to corruption this big. But then Rangel didn't get frogmarched out of the Capital either. Those damn liberals.

As any one who knows me knows, I hate corruption with a passion. Rangel is guilty on 11 or 13 counts. He should lose his job over it, but probably won't. He is an embarrassment to Congress, to his district, and to his party.

Now that we can agree on.

Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

yes. there was a complaint lodged that it was only because he was a liberal rangel was not frog marched out of the capitol

but vitter was not frog marched out for his transgressions and if i recall corrrectly, that person who holds himself out to be an ultra Christian, vitter is not a liberal (except when it comes to sleeping around on his wife)

Rangel broke every ethics law on the books. There's hardly a comparison.
