“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

One of you will end up here next!
I have no doubt that the Republicans are doing what is best for their party. There are no limits they will impose on themselves to accomplish that.

If you notice something good in yourself, give credit to God, not to yourself, but be certain the evil you commit is always your own and yours to acknowledge.

I don't give a damn about the past compared to the future and cranking back Obama's attacks on our economy.
I would like to at some point see Maxine Waters go to jail and along with Rangel be thrown out of Congress, sending the message that like with Duke Cunningham being corrupt has no place and party lines mean nothing when you're a worthless cheating bastard. PERIOD!
Did the Democrats force AIG to issue CDS well in excess of their reserves?
Did the Democrats force mortgage companies to securitize their mortgages?
Did the Democrats force Investment Banks to buy the securities with debt?
Did the Democrats force Lehman Brothers to operate on commercial paper?
Did the Democrats force the ratings agencies to commit massive fraud?
And don't even start with the CRA. That argument has been disproven a thousand times here.
