By the way, the story I linked is confirmed, but feel free to fact check it.

The story you put up there is a columnist opinion, sprinkled in with a few facts, and naming the SoS in quotes taken from other stories on the subject. It is at best opinion, and most likely propaganda. Just so you know the difference, as I am sure you do.

However the night is over, and demo's went down in the house as they should have.

Isn't life bad enough if you work for McDonalds much less thinking you are going to be "better off" under a different party?

I explained that to him earlier in the thread, yet he keeps trotting it out.

So you have no problem with the Chamber of Commerce doing the same thing?

If I'm an electrician I have no choice but to be in the union.

I am not forced to invest in companies I don't like.

    Piss poor analogy my friend.

You do not have to be in a union if you are an electrician, you can become an independant conctrator, find a different company to work for. Given the very low rate for private sector unionization, anyone not in the private sector not wanting to be in a union most likely can find a job in their field that does not require them to be. So if your issue with the union is that they are donating your money to politicians you dont like, you can find another job.

No different then not investing in companies that donate to politicians you dont like
