Reid on the Ropes in Nevada

If the old McCain had ran, he would have been a clearly better option. He didn't. Instead, Obama was the better option, and silly hyperbolic nonsense aside, Obama has been better than we had.

As for Angle, I don't see her as the lessor of two evils. She looks like a serious problem for Nevada to me. But I don't live there and it won't be my choice. But in listening to what many say they want, I don't see any good coming for the state from this election.

Obama was not a better option if you knew his history. Unless of course you are a far left liberal

We are all biased. That's human nature. But I would expect more from a news agency. But alas the days of just reporting the news like good 'ol Walter Cronkite are long gone especially with FOX.

Walter Cronkite?

If you were a lib. I would take my chances with Palin compared to where we are now. Obama has divided this country way more than Bush ever did

I do have some knowledge of history. And I lived through Bush, and listened to McCain, who I was prepared to vote for. How far left I am is debatable. I lean left, but have voted not only Grassley in Iowa, but for both Reagan and Dole in past presidential elections. However, none of that is relevant. Obama isn't perfect, but he was and is a reasonable option who has done a middling job so far. he has two more years. We'll see how it goes.

Wrong Obama is sending this country into Bankruptcy.

Government spending rises 9% - Washington Times

Basic government spending rose by 9 percent in fiscal 2010, driving the country to a $1.291 trillion deficit down $125 billion from 2009, but still the second-largest hole on record, the Congressional Budget Office said Thursday.

CBO said the 9 percent rise in spending for defense, social programs, entitlements and interest on the debt was "somewhat faster than in recent years" a stark evaluation at a time when President Obama and Congress are working to convince voters they are pursuing a fiscally frugal course in Washin

This country was well on the way before obama. It is inaccurate and dishonest to lay on his doorstep alone. no party has given a damn about deficit other then to blame the other party. So, you won't win with that argument. ;)

Wrong he keeps spending and spending that is making the problem worse. He should be decreasing spending not increasing spending and wanting more stimulus.

There is spending we have to do. And while we do need to cut speanding and raise taxes, the question is where. Reagan was pretty big on deficit spending as well when he was in office. Nothing new here with Obama. And not really different than we've seen or would see with any other party or president. The only difference would be what we'd be spending on and who would be complaining.

So we need to send stimulus checks to dead people? The stimulus has done little to help.

72,000 stimulus payments went to dead people - Yahoo! News

How is that tape dirty tricks by liberals??

(this should be good)

If the guy is a plant, and he secretly recorded their conversation (which is illegal in some states, not sure about Nevada), and he then released said conversation to the media, how is that not a dirty trick.

Pretty similar to these dirty tricks by liberals. It's not a new play in the playbook.
Taping Newt, Good; Taping Monica, Bad!

Not going to happen. Most Nevadans, while not liking Harry Reid, like Sharon Angle even less. Even die hard Republicans that I know will hold their nose and vote for Reid over Angle simply because she is bat**** crazy or they will not vote at all.

When Angle wins, will you admit that it's you who is crazy?:3oops:

"People ask me, 'What are you going to do to develop jobs in your state?' Well, that's not my job as a U.S. senator." –Sharron Angle, May 14, 2010

"We needed to have the press be our friend ... We wanted them to ask the questions we want to answer so that they report the news the way we want it to be reported." --Sharron Angle, during an interview with Fox News Channel's Carl Cameron, Aug. 2, 2010

"Government shouldn't be doing that to a private company. And I think you named it clearly: It's a slush fund." --Sharron Angle, on the BP escrow account set up at President Obama's urging to pay out oil spill claims, Alan Stock Show, July 7, 2010

"They [Republicans] say, 'You're too conservative.' Was Thomas Jefferson too conservative? I'm tired of some people calling me wacky." --Sharron Angle, March 21, 2010

Um... Go Sharon...

I'd say that's about 80% good for me. Close enough for government work.

i find the question demeaning, but i'll answer it for my friend

if he's like me he holds a very strong and sincere conviction based on years of patient observation of human events that almost universally the policies pursued by this president are very, very deleterious to the well being of our nation

fair enough?

That's just silly. And doesn't address anything I said.

You said this, Obama isn't perfect, but he was and is a reasonable option who has done a middling job so far. he has two more years. We'll see how it goes.

Now i would say sending money to dead people and Is a failed job.

Then there is the price each stimulus cost. Another failure

Stimulus Study: Each DOE job cost $194,000 – Oregon Business News

A Government Accountability Office report released Thursday shows that the Department of Energy has spent more than $1.9 billion in so-called stimulus funds to create 10,018 jobs through May, an average of $194,213spent per full-time job created.

“As a small business owner for nearly 22 years, I’m shocked that these jobs cost taxpayers nearly $195,000 each,” U.S. Rep. Greg Walden (R-Ore.) said. “Taxpayers deserve more for their investment. This is more evidence that the private sector is far more capable than the federal government at creating the long-term jobs required for a sustainable economic recovery.”

“It looks like the Department of Energy got in over its head when it was handed $6 billion in stimulus money to create jobs by accelerating environmental cleanup work. This report says that DOE managed its timetables well enough, but it also indicates that so far, the jobs that DOE created cost $194,213 each,” said U.S. Rep. Joe Barton, R-Texas, ranking member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

Neither does being completely unqualified, inexperienced, and unprepared. Ask President Obama. :2razz:

Why ask Obama when Bush already proved that point. ;):lamo

Did Obama fill out the forms and the checks personally? I'm sorry, but this type of silliness has happen as long as I've been alive, no matter who was preseident. You're not really addressing anything with this type of effort.
