Re: Del. Senate candidate O'Donnell: 'I'm not a witch'

Mike Castle is almost Nobody's idea of a Republican , but there would be no contest in Delaware if he were currently the nominee and the First Vote he would cast in January would be to possibly give the GOP a numerical majority. Now it's rather unlikely because of the zealots. Sure, O'Donnell can possibly turn it around in a small state in 27 days , but I doubt it.

This whole topic is nothing but B.S. nothing that she did as a silly teenager has any relevance with today.

If it did Obama is still a COKE FREAK, which by the way would explain a lot.

Liberals idiots are grabbing at staws again.

There's still the issue of her extreme social regressive streak. And her conspiracy theory about China.
He touched her over her bra and underpants, she says, and guided her hand to touch him over his underwear

An idea on which there seems to be no unity at all. I've asked dozens of anti-tax people what they mean by "tax control" (or similar term) and I have never once received even similar answers from two different people. Usually that question is answered by a rant filled with half-baked economic ideas that dont stand up to the real world.

Nobody is suggesting we don't fund the government they are just saying reduce the goverment.
Again, whenever I ask about what that means, I get a variety of different answers all based in the value judgements of someone who usually relies on one TV network for their source of information.

My basic beef is that most of these anti-tax people are demanding to be taken seriously and are not demonstrating that they should be. They're like the observers at the hospital trying to yell at the surgeon because he isnt working the way they think he should work. Most of these people cant present a sound idea to save their lives and I'm not interested in people whose entire argument is a rant against the government.

You call them extremist then attack their extremism with exaggerated rhetoric. Who's the extremist now?
Erm, do you actually know what "extremist" means? You could have made a valid point by saying I was making a strawman argument, which I was (I need to stop posting when I'm tired, I tend to wander off topic). My criticism of the lack of education with regards to most of the anti-tax crowd still stands though.

You seemed to feel that what Obama did as a "silly teenager" had relevance during the election, why are we not allowed to laugh at your team when someone on it takes a mis-step?

Dems are running big on personal attacks this year; they can't exactly argue for their record, so nastiness is all they've got.

And those republican/tea party candidates doing and saying stupid things have no responsiblity for they say? Gottcha.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

Why do you keep attempting to deflect from Christine O'Donnell? If you want to talk about Maxine Waters, post a thread on her.

Do you, or do you not, think Christine O'Donnell is a good candidate for higher office?

Do you think Christine O'Donnell belongs in congress?
