For all your seeming quick desire to tell people they don't understand the life of a homosexual, you seem severely disconnected of what a life of a geeky or nerdy person is. I can without a doubt say I've never known a single "Dorky" or "nerd" or "geeky" person that is classified as such simply because they like a different type of music than what's "popular". Its usually something that is directly tied to ones personality, ones own self, and touches everything about them. To boil it down to simply "liking other music" is like boiling down faking being straight to "kissing a girl". Its the way you dress, its the things you find enjoyment doing, its what art you find pleasing (or possibly even finding art pleasing at all), its how you talk, its how you act, its what you involve yourself in.
Would it be as hard for a "Geeky" person to just, flat out, in all ways, "Fake" not being geeky as it would be for someone to "Fake" not being homosexual? Maybe not, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was just as difficult of a thing. So much of it is ingroaned personality traits that dictate much of how you act, perceive yourself, and enjoy that is difficult to change regardless of whether or not its the fact that you think guys asses in tight jeans look good or if truly believe that uttering Monty Python lines at any possible relevant moment in an akward way with an unsure voice is the height of comedy.
No, but it does kind of cut short your long rambling post that was attempting to imply that Jallman should possibly not be stating what he's stating if he just understood or knew the plight of the poor poor homosexual.
You are one of those people that seems to think that treating people differently and giving them special things is somehow the same thing as working to make them "Equals". That's fine and all, but to me 2+2 has never equaled 11 which seems to be the case in your world.
