Yes documents can be forged, which is a problem for the state of California. Thery accepted them.

An employeer is not entitled to any personal information from the state.

If it was in a state that did not tolerate illegal immigration then yes Aldred would have royally screwed her client, she would have been the equivalent of a defense lawyer handing the prosecutor a confession tape, some videos and other evidence implicating her client. California loves illegals so they will not do anything and I seriously doubt the feds will do anything.
The womans legal status has nothing to do with the fact that she commited purgery by signing the forms. California is very strict about things like that. The only thing they love more than illegals is thier laws and courts.

    Whos Social was she using.

That person should persue civil action as that person is responsible for the taxes created by the employment.

This is all true. What's your point?

    Here's Meg's:

We do have to hold employers accountable for hiring only documented workers, and we do have to enforce that law.

Meg Whitman was the woman's employer. Notice how she's not taking responsibility OR holding herself accountable?

The problem with your argument is that Nicky was documented.

How could you punish somebody that didn't know.

How could you hold Meg Whitman to a higher standard than the State of California?

The state didn't catch her so how could Whitman have?

its like someone coming into a licensed gun dealer-presenting an ID and filling out a 4473 that passes the instant background check and getting a gun

if the buyer turns out to be a criminal its not the dealer's fault

What, she was supposed to violate the law and her own campaign statements, and keep "nicky" as a employee (indirectly, I think, seeing as there was some 3rd party company involved)?

What would you have had Whitman do?

Obviously not, since the greedy grubber Whitman can't prove she withheld any taxes on a W-4, and she still owes her housekeeper for the hours she worked before she fired her.

You do realize that the fact that the they sent whitman a not match letter (and according to Allred many letters) means that she was actually paying the appropriate taxes?

Now, I realize that both Allred and the maid have a very long and documented history of lying, so believing them might be risky. But, since you are apparently at a point where you believe everything they say, you should also believe them when they state that the maid saw many lettters in the trash.
