'Don't ask, don't tell' repeal in doubt

The bigoted homophobes that created and passed DADT are an embarassment to this country.
They should have their heads set out on pikes and their bodies fed to the crows.

What really sucks is that now a days, these old people are largely the most unproductive, non contributing members of society.

The only reason any politician listens to them, is because they vote more often than anyone else.

who are you calling old??????

According to your Logic though they would affect straight women. Can't have it both ways

How did you get through my blocked people.............I better check that out...............You have the honor of being the only one there..............

I guess by your logic straight men that abstain from sex have zero chance to catch AIDS then.........(confused)

I would say if anyone was in a committed, monogamous relationship with a clean partner, then their chances of getting an STD would be virtually 0 even if they practiced anal sex.

I would say that heterosexual people are more likely to be in committed, monogamous relationships because they are accepted by society and even endorsed with marriage. I would also say that gay culture is unhealthy and probably should be eradicated by the introduction of same sex marriage.

Well how where you involved with getting thousands discharged?

When you said you were only involved in 10 cases over your 21 yr. career.

I was not involved in the thousands.............

what % of gay men don't engage in anal sex?

I don't know of any statistic that measures that. I do know that gay men, on average, are less likely to practice anal sex as they get older and stick to other sexual practices with their partners.

as to your question, it would seem to point to the conclusion that if you have anal sex (gay or straight) you have a higher chance of getting an STD. could it be that evolution didn't design the ass to be a two way street?

That is precisely the case. The lining of the rectum is very susceptable to tears which provide pathways for the virus.

The last study I checked said about 40%. I'll search for the study, and post it later.

It's because of the thin lining of the anus that causes you to be more at risk for STD's if you practice in unprotected anal sex.
Also, nature wouldn't have put all those nerve endings down there if it really didn't want us to play with it

I was not involved in the thousands.............

Okay so you made a typo, no biggie.

.Hell I help kick a bunch out for violating the UCMJ........

So back to this statement by you. So you think a bunch is on average less than 1 per year, correct?

Actually, if you look at a lot of sex studies the answer to your question would be the majority.

No, it's not. It should be a shining example of the land of the free and the home of the brave. How are we supposed to be able to bring democracy to the world with a military that isn't equal?

The constitution is being pissed on, in the guise of military readiness.

Haved you served? Have you spent 90 days straight at sea? have you showered undressed and slept with 100 people in racks 4 high the size of your living room? when you have done these things instead of being a bleeding heart liberal who this issue has no affect on at all come talk to me............

And showering and sleeping near an openly gay man in those conditions would be bad, why?

Yawn......

Your exactly right......the anus was designed to export not import and is probably the dirtiest point on the body...........If someone want to use it for sex thats fine but don't tell me about it because to me its disgusting...........

How many people are telling you the details of their sex lives?

Which doesn't explain why pleasure can be derived by stimulating the prostate...which is located in the anus. So, in essence, you're right...we were designed that way.

The constitution you like to quote says our military should protect us and fight our wars....nothing else............

If someone want to use it for sex thats fine but don't tell me about it because to me its disgusting...........

So why do you constantly bring it up and keep on talking about it?

The constitution you like to quote says our military should protect us and fight our wars....nothing else............

Good point. Which is exactly why gays should be allowed to serve openly. Your personal comfort has nothing to do with the mission of fighting wars.

When I was on active duty, years ago, there was a gay dude (suspected) that lived in my barracks. "Sweet" Mike, was always the first guy in the showers in the morning and the last guy to leave. he would stand in the corner and watch whilst soaping himself. If he was in the barracks and anyone took a shower during the day/evening hours, Sweet Mike would find an excuse to knock on the door within seconds of you getting back from the shower.

I have no proof that Mike was gay, maybe he just liked to look at other dudes dicks. He was eventually kicked out, not for being gay, but for being a lousy soldier. failure to adapt to military lifestyle.

I realize that sweet Mike is atypical of the average gay dude in the military, but it still gave me the creeps.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with the sexual orientation of our soldiers. You've not had anything to back up your opinions other than making baseless claims that you've talked to some military people about it and then when asked to back up your baseless assertions, you ask if they have served as if the fact that you have served makes you automatically right. What about those who have served who have a different opinion than you? Do their opinions on the issue somehow count less than yours?

LOTS of straight guys give me the creeps.

I don't know I just know that in the past the number of discharges has been posted many times and a link cited and it was in the tens of thousands since 1993.
