This was not a judges decision, this was a vote.

Just out of curiosity, Navy. Why did you bother starting this thread if you were planning on ducking out early? This isn't an attack, by the way. I'm just curious.

Yes, I know. I'm mainly addressing the people who make the activist judge claim about these types of issues.

And American can continue to be the great country that suppresses people's livelihood if they don't fit into the ideal stereotype's.

The American Military - "If you don't meet our sexual profile of who a solider should be just lie to us. We don't really care who you are unless we find out."

Many republicans favor the repeal of DADT as well, but joined with many democrats in saying that this was not the time. Facts are a good thing.

The "activist judge" claim is one of the most retarded things thrown around out here. I keep asking, and have yet to get an answer on why the judge was activist, other than they do not like the ruling.

I don't think one valid reason to keep DADT in effect has been presented through 5 pages of discussion, who would of thought??
I use a lot of satire and sarcasm so keep that in mind when reading my posts.

There never is a valid reason. The only reason it is even in place was because it was the only way to bypass the overly emotional homophbic response to the issue and let homosexuals serve in the military.

The same response to homosexuals serving was presented to blacks serving and women serving. Contray to the outcries of the time, both have made no negative imact to the military.
