The military has changed significantly since you and I served NP. Gays are fairly open these days, and most people in the military actually know gays serving. I think you would be surprised by what the people who serve now think on the issue. Further, whether they want DADT repealed or not is irrelevant and not the point of the Pentagon study.

What does that have to do with you attacking American soliders who don't meet your specific profile of who a soldier should be?

I don't agree there is a CVN sitting in PSNS right now and ships company would disagree with you to..........

Well, anyone who seriously thinks that DADT will end because of a decision made by some judge they are kidding themselves. It will be repealed, but it will be awhile before it happens. Progress takes time. This also won't be the last of this issue. People will continue to fight for it until it happens, and it will.

But it is broke. We have a sitution where able and willing American citizens that want to fight for our freedom's have to choose between either being denied their right to serve in the American military or lie about who they are.

What exactly in any of that is "American"?

This will be my last post to this thread..............I am glad the Congress came to the senses (at least the Republicans) and blocked the repeal of DADT............In November when the Republicans take over the congress or at least pick up 7 or 8 votes in the Senate that will ensure that DADT will not be repealed.................
