France boosts pledge to fight world poverty, urges others to follow suit

Ending global hunger is a political and leftist crock.

Currently most of the third-world is trapped in a cycle. Former colonial powers have made business deals with the elite of the formerly colonized. They have been forced to produce certain materials, which may benefit the nations of the firts-world, but stifles growth and economic potential for the producer. Furthermore, the World Bank system has guaranteed that these nations are forever indebted and the only way to remain treading is to produce the prescribed "crop."

What this means is that these formerly colonized nations are unable to spend money on education and infrastructure. This means that jobs are not created and a dumbing down of the society. If country X must deliver on wheat to keep up with the astrnomical World Bank loan interests then they will focus entirely on wheat just to scrape a few pennies for other departments.

Of course, American corn and farm products inbto third-world nations have merely run local buseiness out of business and encouraged greater poverty levels and outside reliance.

The answer is to forgive the depraved international debts upon them and cut them off in order to make them evolve naturally. This means that the first-world must find a way to fend for itself like it used to do before European colonialism and the Atlantic Slave Trade. Only when societes are free from outside burden can they evolve naturally. And the third-world has not evolved naturally since the 18th century due to outside imposition.

And we ask why they are so screwed up.

I can't support that "We Are The World" utopian bull**** either. First off, the money would never make it to the source of trouble. Give a dictator 1 mil and you have just made him a million richer and still have a poverty among his people.

Solution - If you want to end poverty, shoot the people who are causing it before investing a red cent.

"Only" number 5? Out of 195 countries in the world? That's actually outstanding. Australia, Canada, U.S., Ireland, and Britain are in the top 8. English speaking nations leading the way on yet another list? Where is France and Germany? Or Spain? Sitting out an entire Cold War has produced what from Europe for the world? Maybe France should make less speeches about upping the ante to feed the hungry and catch up with de Gaulle's "inferiors." Or at least release it's colonial grip in Western Africa to join the rest of Europe in the post colonial period.

France has a great excuse. They surrendered.

What a crock! If you count charities from a country you have to count all charitable giving to be fair. That includes government, personal, religious and private institutions. It all comes out of the collective pockets of U.S. Citizens. Screw a stupid frigging tax. It is called CHARITY. I want no part of another wealth distribution scheme by any name.

That aint what we are talking about. This was "our tax dollars" and private charity aint part of that. If you want to discuss total charity giving then start a thread.
