You see to, so my point must have had some merit.

Oh and this is what you think is the best way to get the guy you like on the Ballot? Hyperpartisan "charges" from a leftwing attack group? And yes, I all ready broke these people down before buddy. Who runs the group, who pays for the group...

It's no WONDER you think they have credibility though.
Is CREW investigating charges Biden did similar things or is it just a far left partisan hack swarm of socialist gadflies?

    Nope, no CREW there...

Those were the two I can find, I didn't bother to slog through the RIP threads though. I think you owe me an apology for that Dan, your memory appears faultier then mine own. Unless you found some evidence while I was looking at which point I shall respond accordingly.

Obviously I'm disagreeing with your assessment of what was being said and felt you were going off on a tangent. But I suppose that was far too subtle for you. I'll be more precise next time. Would you prefer smaller words or pictures?

    Examples of CREW at Work:

    Example of CREW's work

In 2007, CREW asked U.S. Senator Charles E. Grassley (R-IA) to investigate Stephen A. Moses who poses as an independent expert in long-term care insurance. The CREW website states, "CREW sent a letter to U.S. Senator Grassley (R-IA), ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee, asking that he initiate an investigation into Moses and his organization, for posing as an independent expert from a respected think tank, rather than his true role as a front man for the long-term care industry. Additionally, this past December, CREW sent letters to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and the National Association of State Medicaid Directors warning them of Mr. Moses’ ties to the long-term care insurance industry in advance of his national tour.
"According to his website, Center for Long-Term Care Reform, Moses has testified as an independent expert on long-term care before two-thirds of the nation’s state legislatures and has been actively working to create legislation to benefit the industry in states throughout the country. Moses is not, however, actually independent." [2]

    Who runs CREW?

    Profile

Melanie Sloan serves as the Executive Director of CREW and her biographical note describes her as "a nationally recognized expert on congressional ethics. Prior to starting CREW, she served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia where, from 1998-2003, she successfully tried cases before dozens of judges and juries."[1]
"Before becoming a prosecutor, Ms. Sloan served as Minority Counsel for the [House Judiciary Committee], working on criminal justice issues for then-Ranking Member [John Conyers] (D-MI). Ms. Sloan also served as Counsel for the Crime Subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee, chaired by then-Representative [Charles Schumer] (D-NY). There, she drafted portions of the 1994 Crime Bill, including the [Violence Against Women Act]. In 1993, Ms. Sloan served as Nominations Counsel to the [Senate Judiciary Committee], under then-Chairman [Joseph Biden] (D-DE). Prior to working for the Congress, she was an associate at Howrey and Simon in Washington D.C. Ms. Sloan received her B.A. and J.D. from the University of Chicago and has published in the Yale Law and Policy Review, and numerous other publications," her biographical note states.[1]
Ms. Sloan has appeared on numerous national news programs to provide analysis including: NPR's All Things Considered, CNN's The Situation Room, Larry King Live and Lou Dobbs, MSNBC's Hardball and Countdown with Keith Olbermann, NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, and ABC World News Tonight. Ms. Sloan also regularly provides insight to newspapers and magazines across the country including: The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Newsweek Magazine, Harper's Magazine, and Rolling Stone, which named her One of the Year's Greatest Mavericks in 2006. Ms. Sloan has been profiled in a number of publications including: Ms. Magazine, Time Magazine and Mother Jone

Naomi Seligman is Deputy Director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. Previously, she worked in the communications department at Media Matters for America. [1]
Seligman "has worked extensively as a communications professional developing and managing media strategies for campaigns, elected officials, and not-for-profit organizations. Most recently, Seligman was the communications director for the Violence Policy Center (VPC). She has also served as a press secretary in both the Senate and the House of Representatives and has functioned as director of outreach on the Small Business Committee." [2]

And who pays for CREW, what is the history?

    Funding

CREW is funded in part by individuals who are members of the Democracy Alliance.
    SSAB

Democracy Alliance was founded by former Clinton Treasury official Rob Stein, Erica Payne and various donors in 2005. The Muckety website maintains a relationship map on some of the major financial donors to the Democracy Alliance.

    Background

"At least 80 wealthy liberals have pledged to contribute $1 million or more apiece to fund a network of think tanks and advocacy groups to compete with the potent conservative infrastructure built up over the past three decades," The Washington Post reported in August, 2005. [1]
Rob Stein's PowerPoint presentation on how the Right built a strong infrastructure of think tanks, non-profits, non-profit groups, scholarship recipients, academics, lobbyists, right wing activists and the media led to the founding of the Democracy Alliance, and also a separate organization, the New Progressive Coalition founded by entrepreneurs Andy and Deborah Rappaport.
The Democracy Alliance tries to keep a low profile and its wealthy donors prefer anonymity. According to published reports, organizations funded by Democracy Alliance are asked not to reveal the funding.
In 2006 a San Francisco, CA, office was established by the Democracy Alliance at the Presidio in the Tides Center, where Alliance member Drummond Pike has his offce.
Rob McKay of the McKay Foundation and Anna Burger of SEIU are the elected chair and vice chair of the board of directors of the Democracy Alliance. [2]
"Members of the Democracy Alliance include billionaires like George Soros and his son Jonathan Soros, former Rockefeller Family Fund president Anne Bartley, San Francisco Bay Area donors Susie Tompkins Buell and Mark Buell, Hollywood director Rob Reiner, Taco Bell heir Rob McKay ... as well as New York financiers like Steven Gluckstern." Not a damn thing has been proven.

I think we should lay off until some real evidence has been presented.

Conservatives: People are human, don't kid yourself that a TEA Party candidate is any different from any other politician...

Liberals: Let some evidence be presented. I don't like her either, but these are after all allegations.
