Wait what? Then why isn't Rangel in jail or at least punished for his violations? (assuming they merited jail). Justice within the government is blinded by partisan leadership. I must say though, that typically Republicans are better at ousting their law breakers and corrupt politicians over the Democrats. However, neither party is clean in those regards.

Crew calls for fed crim investigation into christine o’donnell for campaign fraud

CREW CALLS FOR FEDERAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION INTO CHRISTINE O’DONNELL FOR CAMPAIGN FINANCE FRAUD

20 Sep 2010 // Washington, D.C. -Today, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) filed complaints with the Delaware U.S. Attorney's Office and the Federal Election Commission (FEC) against newly-minted Delaware senatorial candidate Christine O'Donnell (R) for using campaign funds for personal living expenses. By misusing campaign funds, Ms. O'Donnell committed the crime of conversion; by lying about her expenditures on forms she filed with the FEC, she committed false statements; and by failing to include the campaign funds she misappropriated as income, she committed tax evasion.
Comments on the complaint, anyone? My take is, that if this forces O'Donnell off the ballot, this will put Mike Castle back in the driver's seat, and once again make this a seat that Republicans can win.

That's all this is. Demands from a watchdog group that is merely an attack dog for the Democrats, trying to shift the focus of Rangal and Waters scandals. If it turns out there is merit to these allegations well that's why we have a legal system. However considering the source, the location, this election and the desperation of the Progressive Elite... I'll take this all with a HUUUUGE grain of salt.

I have called for him to be punished if convicted, and if O'Donnell is guilty(which is yet to be proven), she as well should be punished with the full force of the law. Corruption and criminal acts should always be punished, and fully.

This is something I think we can both agree on 100%. Republican or Democrat, justice should be served.

Is anyone saying otherwise? Just curious as to why you are defending a position to which... I dont' recall anyone taking the opposite position.

If these charges have merit, I would agree. If they don't she should sue CBS, CREW... and anyone else pushing this fodder.

Oh and this is what you think is the best way to get the guy you like on the Ballot? Hyperpartisan "charges" from a leftwing attack group? And yes, I all ready broke these people down before buddy. Who runs the group, who pays for the group...

It's no WONDER you think they have credibility though.
