Christine O'Donnell: 'I Dabbled in Witchcraft'

His crack dealer said he did it in the back of a state vehicle. He admits to using marijuana and coke. But thats allllll good...at least he didnt give an interview professing to value chastity (the same message Jimmy Carter gave in his Playboy Interviews-you know...adultery in the heart and mind is still adultery).

You'll believe anything WorldNetDaily posts won't you? :rofl

You trust a crack dealer's word. That says it all.

Im saying discussing things like her employment record, political stances, her opponent, their records, and who is the better more qualified candidate has no place in these discussions because all people care about are the fact that she (like Jimmy Carter) promotes and spoke about abstinence and apparently as a teenager dated a witch. As much as the asshats on the left bitch about people bringing up non-issue driven topics they sure do ****ing LIVE there.

Unless it's some farfetched crack dealer story or a chance to call someone an Obot.

It's a little late for you to try to claim the moral high ground in this thread.

Allegations of crack (and pole) smoking are the PERFECT response to threads about condoms and witchcraft.

Not if you are going to turn around and try to pretend to be above that sort of thing.

BTW, Obama never said he did those things. O'Donnell did. You actually went lower than what you now seem to be opposed to.

and "witch" doesn't? the typical connotation of witches is cackling old hags gathered around a bubbling cauldron, big warty noses, etc.

Samantha Stevens and Sabrina were exceptions

No, witch doesn't have a negative connotation to practitioners. That would be silly. That it has a negative connotation to those ignorant of the the craft is irrelevant to those who practice.

read the opening line of the first response I made to this contnued inane bull****...

Link please?

What...you mean you just jumped into a conversation without knowing where and what was being said? SHOCKING. And as inane as this conversation. Go back a few pages and read it yourself.

my apologies for not being up on all the nuances of those who practice the satanic arts.

A lot of the pagan/Wiccan types I've known refer to themselves as "wiccans".

Maybe that means "witches", I don't know.
My understanding is that it's kind of like the whole writer/author thing: to refer to oneself as an "author" is presumptuous bordering on pompous (even if you are in fact an author and are referred to by others as such).
Same with painters/artists.

I think a lot of people feel more comfortable characterizing themselves by what they do (write, paint, practice Wicca/witchcraft) than adopting a title where these actions define them (author, artist, Witch).

If that makes sense.
As a teen, I knew teens who called themselves "witches".
As an adult, the adult practitioners of wicca that I've encountered call themselves Wiccans.

and it isn't "silly" that warlock has a negative connotation among practitioners?

what makes the difference?

I think the negative connotation there is the same "negative connotation" that outdated slang has.
It's just not a term that's used anymore, outside of bad genre novels.

Depends on the person, of course. I jokingly call myself a witch, but when I practiced I NEVER called myself that. Mostly out of respect. I likened it to reading the bible, praying, going to church a bit and then calling yourself a priest. I didn't consider myself knowledgable or commited enough to the craft to seriously call myself a witch among other practitioners.

I have noticed many taking the term "Wiccan". I kind of shunned that personally, because I focused on the "old ways" and "Wicca" is very new. However, I'm coming to accept that "Wiccan" is just a new word for the same very old practice I studied.

Because of the origins of the word "warlock". Which means "oathbreaker", iirc. It's mostly thanks to christians that the word is seen as negative. Which is why I mentioned there are some men who are trying to reclaim it.

I just didn't want to have to wade through the whole thread to find your first post. You have a better idea of where it is than I do. Apparently you would rather posture and act like I am the one out of line here. I'm sure people will take your word for it.

This is so mindless...so...since there is no talk of the candidates or there positions...I'll just point out the obvious...

While those on the left are continuing to have conniptions about ODonnells video clips, during that same time, Barrack Hussein Obama was smoking crack in state owned vehicles while he was a legislator in Illinois.

The chick talks about things she did as a high school kid and adopts a puritan position that would make Jimmy Carter proud, Obama is smoking crack. And you question HER judgment?

Oh, this is the post you are talking about. :rofl

Yeah, you'd have a point if you had actually stopped after the first sentence. But instead you decided to be add something even more mindless.

Thanks for giving everyone another chance to see this gem of a post.

Where we at?

Are they still circling the wagons around this ditz?

Christine O'Donnell proved she has a 7th-Grade level understanding of the Constitution, today.

Karl Rove's moment of clarity has come and gone..?? Too bad.

but I thought, "if it has a negative connotation to those ignorant of the the craft is irrelevant to those who practice"

so again I ask, if it is silly to think witch would have a negative connotation (due to the opinion of the ignorant masses) why is it not silly that warlock has a negative connotation (due to the opinion of the ignorant masses)

just doesn't seem consistant to me.

You guys know she will be on Hannity tonight, right?

We probably won't learn much from it though, because he'll be throwing powder puff questions at her and glowing at her like she's foot-jerking him under the table.

But I want to see her try to act like future Senatorial material

O'Donnell has said so far that she fell behind on her mortgage because she was doing pro bono work for a woman who was going to be unplugged, and her $11K IRS tax lien was an admitted mistake by the IRS. (Somebody correct me if I heard her wrong).

Also, I notice that she blinks a lot when she's lying.

OKAY, THE SECOND LINE WAS A JOKE!

Bill Mahr did a big favor for O'Donnell putting her on TV so many times. She's very good on TV, seasoned. Course, that was with Hannity.

Now she says she'll only interact with the local media in Delaware, rather than FNS and other national shows.

Oh, God, Jesus, Big Guy in the sky... please use your powers to make Hannity ask the following questions:

1. How many justices sit on the U.S. Supreme Court?

2. Who was the third President of the United States?

3. Who ordered the dropping of the first atomic bomb on Japan? Who ordered the second?

4. New Deal President?

5. How many voting members in the House of Representatives?

Bonus Question: Cuban Missile Crisis President?

She's sounding more and more like Palin all the time. I have serioius doubts Palin graduated from college.

Yep, it's hard to believe she has a college degree by the way she talks.

Ethics Group filed a complaint against her for embezzlement. They claim she paid her rent with campaign money. Then she lied about it in the forms she filled out. She wasn't working at the time, so where would the rent money have come from?

She's a real beaut. But the Reps will defend her just like they did Palin, they like stupid.

Solid, liquid and gaseous, of course.
