Let it be known throughout the heavens and the earth, that on this very day, I do issue a fatwah on Makarem-Shirazi.

    This will be upheld.

Oh yeah republic. I can post the truth too...

Blame the media for terrorism and the reason Muslim leaders across the world don't condemn it, the peace conference bloke says. Not the perpetrators or the pushy Muslims who want Piglet from Winnie he Pooh banned, etc., or the evil in Islam itself for the PR image, but the newspapers.

That people can think that is a truth which sits uncomfortably. But thanks for posting it.

And I support the rap guy and any Muslims thinking Israel has its right to exist and manifest itself the same as any other nation. The lady speaking needs to face down satanic international Muslim leaders as a bona-fide government official. And sod the diplomatic consequences.

We just need to have people like that LEADING the Muslim world and not FOLLOWING. But because the ideology and system is the way it is, we won't have much hope of that.

Still, good contribution - though there was STILL no comprehensive condemnation of terrorists or the evil inherent in Islam and its Prophet by so many 'moderates'.

Re: Iran Ayatollahs Issue Fatwas Against Koran-Burners

I just posted a number of videos of people asking for exactly that. Oh wait, but they're Muslim.
I did mention that people like that need the state's full support, not the usual assortment of liberal-sponsored troublemakers wanting crap like new potato chip recipes.

Islam NEEDS to be reformed and that's the only way good people like that can win in their own communities.

At least somebody wants something other than war to fix these problems.
After much time, we found some! They deserve a pat on the back for the kind of thing everyone else would be expected to do as a matter of course!

Muslims criticise Walkers after it is revealed that some crisp varieties contain alcohol | Mail Online

    Comment:
The Koran doesn't ban alcohol, it just warns against drunkenness. It's religious zealots that have done the rest. If this wasn't a religious issue people would quickly realize that the amount of alcohol in the crisps couldn't contribute to any problem with alcohol except possibly massive allergy. But because it is seen as a rule from God suddenly we're all obliged to throw away common sense. This applies as much to the Mormons as the Muslims, or indeed the Methodists.

Actually he was saying that although Muslim leaders do condemn violent Islam, they are not heard because the media portrays Islam in a negative light.
If half the stories regarding Islam are about violence, but 1% of Islam commits such acts, it puts Islam and non radical Muslims at a huge disadvantage. Much like your posting of choice videos. It doesn't explain the whole picture, which most are unwilling to even look at.

There are approximately 5 million Muslim citizens in the US (US News & World Report). How many of them have committed acts of Islamic violence in the name of Jihad?

Not many. However, you are trying to tell me Islam (and therefore Muslims) is inherently evil, instead of looking at the humanitarian aspect of Muslims abroad - be it brutal dictatorships, war, 3rd world poverty.

I'm just saying that being born into poverty, being under the influence of Sharia Law all thier life, and having thier country bombed still equates to maybe 1% of these people turning towards extremist violence. Even in those conditions. It is the governments, and the governments that support extremism that we need to worry about. Not Muslims. Not Islam. Is that not agreeable?
    and so it goes...

The bible bans homosexuality as much as it bans divorce. And religious zealots have done the rest. But because it is seen as a rule from God suddenly we're all obliged to throw away common sense.

Your post suggests you have zero historical knowledge on this subject.

Yup. I was telling him the same thing. Remember when this site was more than opinionated biased rhetoric?

The other 90% of the Muslim world, peacefully living their life, that's who should be getting the coverage right now.
    ...maybe 1% of these people...
I wish you liberals would confer before presenting your arbitrary figures. Especially when no backup evidence is given.

Actually he was saying that although Muslim leaders do condemn violent Islam, they are not heard because the media portrays Islam in a negative light.
That's a laugh for a start. If Muslims didn't behave badly then there would be nothing to report. It's far too easy to cover things up just to present an image. If Islam was benign then it would be biased or libellous.

There's just so much the papers couldn't report if some had their way. And I'm surprised there's room for any other news:

They can say what they want in their country I suppose. But it has little to no effect here. We still recognize the rights of the individual and won't arrest someone for burning a koran.
You know the time is right to take control, we gotta take offense against the status quo

What you're doing it the equivalent of posting some anti-white speeches by black radicals, along with videos that focus on negative black stereotypes and then saying, "See, they're all a bunch of animals that want to kill us." It would be like basing your opinion of the entire black race on some angry gansta-rap and video clips of urban riots.

You seem to be completely incapable of putting anything into some relevant context and you refuse to accept any real facts about how Muslims all over the world feel about Islamic radical groups.

Video - Breaking News Videos from CNN.com

I can post too. Video after video of people of different faiths having an opened reasonable discussion about this, but I doubt they would do any good.

Your ignorance and bigotry are shameful.
