Bet you spoke to a few more POWs than I have.
Bet you spoke to a few more POWs than I have.
Most of everything I've learned has been from books and it merely validates my life experiences and helps me to understand things more clearly.
For starters...The declaration of war on terrorism was a politically sound strategic move to avoid pushing the fence sitters. What else were we going to declare war on? Anything with the word "Muslim" or any insinuation of a Muslim faction overtly admitted would have inflamed the entire Muslim community, but in reality its Jihad on Jihad
1 Then you must know, if there is Islam, "militant Islam" will be part of it. See - Mohammad
2 There is NO a fix for the abuses of the Taliban in the areas they control. They are savages propped by religion
3 AQ has been gone from A-stan and Binny is dead.....Which brings us to....Why are we still there?
4 The Karzaid government is going to fail, the Taliban will resume dominant position
5 Most of the stuff thats happening in A-stan is COIN 101 -which the Marines claim they invented (they didn't, but it doesn't hurt to let them think it).
Those dip****s in America that seek to burn a Qur'an as some sort of declaration of religous pride are the buffoons. They are the ones that seek to meet them at their silly ancient game. Their Islamist equivilents have brought down skyscrapers. The Christian threat of burning Qur'ans is supposed satisfy what exactly? Given the pathetic idea of it, maybe it's best to leave this nation's security in the hands of the uniform. Until we head into war with crosses on our vests, the Christian fanatics don't have a war.
Could this be considered the DP equivelent of a Touch Down?
I don't even know what you are talking about with this. Are you a former soldier at risk of having his feelings hurt?
