Yes, I clearly said it was 'OK'...

So to protest intolerance, you suggest displaying intolerance as the best route?

The Pastor (who happens to be a real idiot [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_i0J7LH0CA]), said he prayed before making his mind on going through with this ridiculous event. I wonder if he thought of Luke 31:

Do to others as you would have them do to you.

    Obviously not.

I think the pastor already knows that the muslims in the middle east burn bibles, American flags and other things that are offensive to Americans who are Christians. Thats probably one of the reasons he is burning korans, because the muslims are doing to others what they want others to do them.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

And then so is he, so by his actions, according to your logic, he is encouraging and promoting bible and flag burning, 'cause he obviously enjoys it.

That makes no sense and does not follow any logic. It is not about what the Muslims want done to them. The Pastor is a Christian, and as a Christian, he should "do to others as he would have them to do him". Or does the Pastor only follow some of Jesus' teachings?

Don't muslims in the middle east already burn bibles, American flags and other things Americans might find offensive?

Yep, and by his actions, the Pastor is saying that he wants it done to him as much as they want it done to them.

It does if you view "Do to others as you would have them do to you." as a two way street.

It is not about what the Muslims want done to them.
Has he stated all his reasons why he is burning the korans? Then how do you know what its all about?

Maybe he views the do unto others[/QUOTE]

Don't atheist and liberal Christians(fake Christians) like to play the that's your interpretation of the bible game and don't you all like to say its a book of fairy tales? So why do you right now give a **** what the bible says?

Muslims in the middle east would do those things regardless who burned korans. I just hope that pastor calls all the whiners a bunch of hypocrites while they are pissing and moaning over the korans being burned.

The pastor is as much a dickhead as the people that do it in the ME, there is no way he could even try and claim the moral high ground you seem to be putting him on.
