Religious leaders Combat 'fear and intolerance' over Islamic center

It sure would be nice if you actually watched the videos you posted. Neither one says they do not have the legal right to build it.

Wanting to use eminent domain to stop a project is not wanting to or planning to deny them their rights?

Wanting to "kill" the project is not wanting to deny them their rights?

Love having egg on your face much?

When you have actual proof about the other sites being committed by Christians, let us know. Until then you are basing your beliefs off nothing more than suspicion.

And CAIR is a terrorist supporting group. It would be wise if you did not use them to support your argument in the future.

It doesn't matter who is harassing these American Muslims. I never said Christians were the ones acting out against the Muslims in these instances.

To your second point... Thanks, but that doesn't change the fact that these things happened.

Enjoy your fail.

Granted I openly hate you but since your not a New Yorker you wouldnt know that Paladino is a crony capatilaist and huge admirer of the government gun to bring him his wealth. Paladino has openly stated he will use ED if he gets control of Albany.

If we celebrated the building of a mosque in the spirit of love and forgiveness... Osama bin Laden would be sitting alone in cave before long. His own men would turn him in.

That's so ignorant it's asinine. Really, you think all the extremist want is for us to celebrate the building of a mosque?

seriously? :lamo

Yes indeed: http://www.debatepolitics.com/break...nce-over-islamic-center-3.html#post1058969380

The 'kill the mosque' films are a logical reaction to supremacists going too far. It's not too far removed from the displays of Nazis parading at Madison Square Garden at the start of World War 2.

...And what's this?

DEMOCRATIC Governor of Illinois comes out AGAINST the Ground Zero Victory Mosque « Bare Naked Islam's Weblog

DEMOCRATIC Governor of Illinois comes out AGAINST the Ground Zero Victory Mosque..

And Muslims are offended. AGAIN! Muslims are offended by everything infidels do. So who cares?

'Fear and intolerance'? I'm damn well not surprised!

Logical? You call that... logical?

Claiming it is a "victory mosque" without proving it
Lumping in the radicals - Hamas, etc, with the rest of the 1.4 BILLION Muslims in the world
Wanting the project outright killed instead of relocated...

is LOGICAL?

It is just barely a step above the "If it is built in the U.S, it is already too close" nutjobs on the site SodaHead when it comes to lunacy.

And your posted article does not change the fact that my post was addressing the claim that "NOBODY wants to legally stop the project."

I don't believe that America has seen the kind of scapegoating that is going on here since Hitler scapegoated the Jews in Germany.

As much as you may face heat from others for that analogy [after all, it seems like nobody knows what Gidwin's Law is *ACTUALLY* for anymore], I'd say you were heading in the right direction - though I'd liken it moreso to the civil rights movement in regards to the violence, and attitude since it seems to be more at that level - from a comparitive point of view - at this point in time [if that made any sense].

Yup. Whether it's sensible is what I believe you're trying to get your teeth into.

And for what it's worth, 1.4 billion Muslims (God, what a depressing number) have nothing to do with it. For the most part anyway. We're dealing with the provocative Islamic jackoffs INSISTING on building a mosque near the death site of those who lost their lives for Islam. Jackoffs who, let's not forget, won't rule out taking funds from extremist Islamonazi governments who still kill homosexuals and punish rape victims.

Let's have some pious Leftard outrage over THAT!

Emotional cliche-time. They've lost it again in the Liberal-Left!

I've come across that more than once in the Europe thread. Criticised some Muslim supremacist lately? "Ooooh, that's just like with the Jews in Nazi Germany"!

Many Muslims themselves have played up to the victim mentality, saying anyone daring to criticise anything they do wants to see Auschwitz opened back up just for them.

I'm tempted to say they shouldn't flatter themselves to think they're that important!

In the CNN interview with the Imam Fisal Rauf, he touches on almost all of the subjects the skeptics have been talking about including who he'd accept funding from.

Let's have some pious Leftard outrage over THAT!

Your condescending tone towards other American citizens does nothing to prove any point.

Look who's talking. And no outrage over that I see.

Bit selective isn't it?!

Guess I missed that comment. I don't condone hateful rhetoric and name calling from anyone. I'm no hypocrite.
