Where is the economic growth? where is the reduction in the deficit and debt? Please tell me what economic prediction made by this Administration has been accurate? Now you want another 50 billion spent on a stimulus program where the first one didn't work? You don't see how you are being duped?

Obama has total control of the Govt. thus is acting like a dictator and liberals hold him to the same accountability as people living under a dictatorship, NONE.
Look. Firstly I dont think all the stimulus money has been spent. Possibly allocated, but not spent from what I know. Second. Most economists would tell you the stimulus was too small, so Im not opposed to this plan. Third, without a stimulus wed definitely be worse off. In my simple understanding of economic increasing govt spending during a recession maintains output, preventing a worse outcome. Seriously you ARE blaming Obama in his 2 years for not being able to completely put of a disaster from the previous administration that he's inherited.

As I have stated many times I am NOT a Republican and don't disagree with you however it is results that matter not rhetoric. Tell me one economic prediction made by Obama that has been true?

The stupidity is not paying any attention to the Obama resume, hiring him only to find out that resume was accurate, a radical whose vision of American is larger govt. and redistribution of wealth.

Facts seem to trump liberal rhetoric, 16 million unemployed Americans, 3 trillion added to the debt much of which is due to a stimulus plan that was supposed to be for infrastructure spending and worked so well that we now need to spend more. Keep buying the lies, liberals.

you know that 3 trillion we spent on a war with the wrong country could have been really useful right about know though. You conservatives are right though, a 800 billion dollar stimulus package is far worse then spending 3 trillion dollars on a war with the wrong country while killing thousands and thousands and also losing thousands of are own troops.

How do you prove we would have been worse off? You are sounding like the empty suit in the WH who diverts from his own failures. What was the rhetoric leading up to the passing of the first stimulus package? It had to be passed immediately, it was for shovel ready projects, it would keep unemployment from exceeding 8%. Those were wrong and now you buy this as well as how bad things COULD HAVE BEEN?

I keep hearing about that Bush disaster yet not a word about what the Democrats did to prevent it. They controlled the Congress from 2007 on and Congress is where the legislation begins and has to be approved. Interesting how all this was Bush's fault yet Obama with a Democrat controlled Congress passing immediately anything he wanted now needs more time to help clean up the mess he claims Bush created? You don't see how foolish that argument is?

Re: Obama to Call for $50 Billion Spending on Public Works

Since the passage of the economic stimulus package in mid-February, the Obama Department of Transportation has approved 2,500 highway projects. The movement of stimulus money out the door has been as swift as it has been effective: $9.3 billion has been spent in all 50 states. Touting its impact, DOT officials say 260,000 jobs are expected from this investment. And with competition for contracts fierce, the department is set to approve even more projects than previously envisioned. "There will be more money for additional transportation projects," said the official.
I think it's just a testament of just how much work our infrastructure system needs. A lot of the stimulus money went to building roads and such, their is just so much work to be done though that more is needed.

Where is the gasoline taxes collected everytime you buy gasoline going? That is where the infrastructure revenue was supposed to come from
