Bravo! Really guy's, take a bow. Once again no one in here has said that the country's infrastructure isn't in need of updating, and repair. However, You liberals just had some $787 Billion dollars to achieve that very thing for the past 18 + months, and all we heard leading up to it was how it was going to "put America to work", "Keep unemployment below 8%", "bring America into the 21st century".....etc.

Now we need more, for "shovel ready jobs" again? Fool me once..... You liberals must really believe that American's are just butt stupid. We don't want higher taxes on those that create the jobs, we don't want American's taking part time jobs that are being counted 3 times, we don't want sunshine blown up our pant legs while we can see the reports saying exactly the opposite of what Obama says, and come this November you guy's are gonna see WE DON'T WANT LIBERALS IN CHARGE ANYMORE!!!!!!

So far, it looks like the current administration is making the right moves. The only problem is that it should be bigger steps.

Would you agree that some of these stimulus plans were unnessacry and that American yaxpayer should not have paid for them?

Not all Americans are stupid, just those who get their education from the likes of Beck and Limbaugh.
BTW, this "liberal" always votes republican on the federal level, and most of the time on local level.
That may change. If the GOP can't select a viable candidate, I will just stay home on election day.
Twice the back room boys have selected wrong, once when it chose Bush over McCain, and again when it chose McCain over anybody. McCain has lost touch with reality, as has most of the party backers.
If you understood economics, you would know that it is consumers who create jobs, not whoever you are thinking of. No business is going to hire people to fill jobs that don't exist, and those jobs won't exist until we consumers start spending our money. The USA can't exist economically with only service type jobs. Wall Street, Madison Ave. and the financial district can shuffle papers all day long, and it won't create one job....
We need useful products, and those products must be manufactured LOCALLY, not overseas just because it is a bit cheaper....
BTW, when I say OUR money, that isn't just taxpayer money, too many people, and too many companies, who HAVE money are afraid of spending it. I don't get that....
Where is the confidence in the American Economy that the Wall Streeters claim to have?

Former VP at Fannie Mae, and political contributions to democrat exclusively in 2008 from what I gather.

So hey, I am not telling you what to believe here, but if you really want to fall for the line that Obama and team has improved the economy, when it is clear that they are playing to special interests like Unions, and political friends, then that is on you. Nothing has changed in DC, just who's doing the lying.

Finally, J-mac got something right....nothing has changed in DC, just who is doing the lying. 2 years ago, it was the GOP....right?

Damned straight Bill. I didn't see it then, I was wrong. But today my eyes are clear. I am still a conservative, but I pay more attention to what politicians actions are now than I did then.

    And the current crop sucks.

    you're easy to please

    fine

except---he doesn't have a bill, he doesn't have a legislative base, he doesn't have a vote, he doesn't have the votes, he doesn't have time

all but the most dogmatic doctrinaires can see the suit is empty, yes

it's all thru the msm, they're pretty much disgusted

coverage of his "economic plan" yesterday was close to 100% cynical
