.1%, the smallest amount they measure this in, is a "jump?"

The actual numbers are the issue, still almost 16 million people unemployed in this "summer of recovery"

Another stimulus? How was the first stimulus spent?
I thought you were againt government employees? So there were fewer government employees.

You do realize that if Republicans get some of their wishes (shrinking government, eliminating departments) that it's going to cause unemployment to rise. Unless you don't want to count laying off government employees.

And, if you don't, then you accept the fact that private-sector employment grew by 60,000 in August.

LOL, great spin, is there anything that this Administration has done that you don't support? The Govt. employment was inflated by the Census workers and now I believe all those are gone thus the so called reduction in govt. employees. The total number of full time Govt. employees didn't drop at all and the Census numbers show the taxpayers funding these employees at double the salary of the private sector. yes, I am all for cutting the size of govt at least in half and forcing those people into the private sector.

If you think 60,000 growth in the private sector is good then tell that to the 16 million unemployed Americans. Business is not going to hire faced with the costs of the Obama agenda.

Wait just a damn minute> Didn't I hear the "Idiot and Amateur in Chief" say that his stimulus plan is working when he was asked if he regretted calling this the Summer of Recovery?

I have to say I see it like the rest of Obama's dumb ass ideas and this has been the Summer for Bummers.

Yet the rhetoric continues as Obama explains to the uninformed and those that continue to drink the Kool-Aid that things would have been worse were it not for "him." How does Obama or his supporters prove that things could have been worse? Where is the data?

Unemployment is up every month this year over last year yet this is the "Summer of Recovery?" Everyone feel better now?
