They are different in that they are both Communist, Socialist, and ideologies loved by teen aged loose women. In the name of Jesus Christ, this I do affirm.

And no, I didn't talk to the families. I read their web site, you know, the one you were too lazy to click the link to.

Here is the link again. Next time, read the damn link before popping off, and making yourself look silly. Reading is fundamental.

911 Families for a Peaceful Tomorrow

Finally, to understand the context of what I said, just so that you don't take anything out of context, read post 91 again, that is, if you even read it the first time.
I can readily see why you call yourself Danarhea. Your post 91 suggests you are either stupid or a liar. I believe its both.

You claim in post 91 that 911 Families for a Peaceful Tomorrow has made a statement supporting the Mosque, and they represent 250 families of 911 victims.

Actually, on that website, they say they represent 200 family members. This is what they say.

"A core group of 200 family members directly affected by loss on September 11th have joined our group, and thousands of supporters have joined our mailing list. Our family members live in 31 states and seven foreign countries. In accordance with our bylaws, our director and steering committee members are 9/11 family members".

As many reading this will understand, 200 family members are substantially different from 200 families. Where you got this "250 families" from is anyone's guess.

Muslims murdered 3,000 people on 9/11 alone, which would be be a significant number of families, and that would have left thousands of family members and their friends grieving, much more than just 200.

" To cynically use 911 families as a political football is the kind of dishonesty you find in the Pravda of the Old Soviet Union, and is morally reprehensible".

Yet that is just what you're doing, and in fact that's just what the planners of the Victory Mosque are doing. You are lying as much as they.

Re: U.S. Muslims launch ad to fight 'fear-mongering'

Note to all DP members reading this thread. The following constitutes the entirety of my post number 91. YOU be the judge. Thank you. I'm done with this thread.

Yes, it's all about the 911 families, or is it really? There are several sites, purportedly by 911 families against the Islamic Cultural Center, that actually have nothing to do with the 911 families at all. They are actually financially backed by a man named Frank Gaffney, who is known to many by the name "King of the Birthers". He actually makes Orly Taitz look like an amateur. Some of his statements he has made in the past include:

    1) Accusing Obama of speaking in some sort of secret code, saying that the US will submit to sharia law.

    2) Accusing Obama of being a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, a terrorist organization that is banned throughout the Middle East.

    3) Writing an article for the Moonie Washington Times, accusing Obama of being a Muslim.

    4) Accusing Obama, in a column for Andrew Breitbart's hate site, of redesigning the logos of the agency which controls our nuclear arsenal, making it a Muslim agency.

    5) And, of course, the man is a birther, who believes that Obama is not a US citizen.

As for those who run the site, there are 2 of them - Both relatives of 911 victims. To be honest here, if my wife or one of my brothers had been a victim on 911, it is remotely possible that there might be 3 of them, me included. But my relatives are not victims, so I won't attempt to speak for those 2. I am sorry for their loss. But make no mistake where the funding is coming from - One of the biggest nutters in the entire USA.

But what of other 911 families? Do these sites speak for them? Apparently not. 911 Families for a Peaceful Tomorrow has made a statement supporting the Mosque, and the represent 250 families of 911 victims.

So, in the end, what do the 911 victims' families have to say about the mosque? Human nature, being what it is, shows that there are families on both sides of this issue. I am not going to judge either side here, because I am not in the shoes of any of them. But there is a think tank that wants you to believe that ALL the 911 families are against the mosque, when that is just not true at all.

In the end, it comes down to this. 911 families are not being so much victimized by the mosque as they are by the nutters who purport to speak for all of them, when they don't. It is a lie of the vilest sort. To cynically use 911 families as a political football is the kind of dishonesty you find in the Pravda of the Old Soviet Union, and is morally reprehensible.

Who speaks for the 911 families? The 911 families themselves, and nobody else. Not you, not think tanks, and not those with a political axe to grind.

    Just my 2 cents here.

Right. You say that this represented 250 familiies while they say they are "A core group of 200 family members directly affected by loss on September 11th".

I guess we can leave it up to readers whther or not 200 family members is the same as 250 families.

While I'm sure this might be seized on by muslims as evidence of my intolerance towards Islam, I'm at the point of saying... so the **** what!!!!!. We have tried the policy of tolerance, appeasement, and cultural equivalence. They have failed. Islam is off the rails crazy at this point, and I see little harm in pointing that out to anyone who will listen.

Islam's current perception in the world today is one of an intolerant, murderous, medieval religion, that demands absolute obiedience, and values blind faith over logic or reason. It has a declared goal of world domination, and has a doctrine that allows the elimination, by force, of all criticism, dissent, or obstruction.

If muslims are tired of being profiled as terrorists, muderers, or jihadists, thats their own ****ing fault. Blame those who carry out all manner of atrocities in the name of islam, with the tacit approval of muslims worldwide. Pointing out the crimes carried out in their name may be labeled as propaganda by some, but its just reporting facts to others

While you might be quite indifferent to Muslims killing each other, Khayembii, this Muslim mayhem has spread to other countries. Some of the better know were in London, Madrid and Bali, and you might be aware of the many failed attempts, but in fact its going on everywhere every day..

Who are these "we" and "they"?

    Grant's crap
First, your post had nothing to do with mine so I have no idea why you quoted me or even addressed it to me.

Second, you link to "The Religion of Peace". That alone lets me know your true ideology and your true political agenda.
"I do not claim that every incident in the history of empire can be explained in directly economic terms. Economic interests are filtered through a political process, policies are implemented by a complex state apparatus, and the whole system generates its own momentum."

Are you saying, Khayembii, that the "Religion of Peace" website contains some factual errors?

If so, please point them out and i'll write a harsh letter to them for daring to defame Islam and it's international message of love, peace and brotherhood.
